Alex Miller Alex Miller 6'5" | SF Downers Grove North | 2024 State IL – IBA Illinois Stars 2024
Alex is a jack of all trades type of player. He can make open shots when playing off the ball. If he catches in the paint area he becomes a dual threat as a passer and scorer. Miller caught my attention because he competes hard on both ends battling for loose balls and competing hard on the boards. He tried to do whatever it takes to win.
Alex Danehl- M14 Hoops 2025
I got my first look at Alex on Saturday morning. He flourished as a knock down shooter at first but later was better as a slasher getting to the rim for layups and tip ins off missed shots. Danehl is really effective because he’s constantly moving on offense and defense. I watched him get a chase down block as well as some steals from bad cross court passes.
Martell Britten- DTM Elite 2024
Britten is a stronger guard who excelled at getting to the rim for layups and getting fouled in the process. Martell is physical and seeks out defenders when attacking. He showcased good body control and touch. He made one three in the game I watched but isn’t quite a shooter. Britten plays with a strong motor and looks to always out hustle everyone on the court.
James Bullock James Bullock 6'7" | PF Marian Catholic | 2024 State IL – IBA Illinois Stars 2024
Bullock is a legit 6’7 rim protecting big man that’s has a great second jump when battling on the boards. James swatted a couple of shots out of bounds with authority. On offense he is working on becoming a stretch big man as he knocked down a couple threes in one of the games. A bulk of his scoring comes from him being in the right spot for missed shots.
Drew King – Chicago Lockdown 2024
King fit the role of a mobile big man on Sunday morning. He was able to get his hands on several blocked shots outside of his area. Drew rebounds really well and meets the ball at its high point when it comes off the rim. I walked away impressed with Drew’s footwork in the paint. He seems to be very coordinated and poised to score with his back to the basket. King maybe a considered a D2 prospect right now but I can easily see him move to a LM player by the end of this summer.
National Prospects
Andrea Holden Andrea Holden 6'5" | C Hamilton | 2024 State OH – R4L Elite 2024
Maybe one of the better prospects I watched this weekend. Holden is an aggressive wing player that has bounce and the ability to play above the rim. Andrea is good scoring threat from all three levels. He is a wing that can score effortlessly from mid-range, but also mix it up inside and score over defenders. Holden is one of the legit D1 prospects I saw this weekend.
Ian Reesor Ian Reesor 6'6" | PF Sayre | 2024 State KY – KY Future Elite
Ressor is a long and athletic 6’6 forward that excels when running his lanes and posting players up the right way. He gets the ball and keeps everything simple and scores practically every time. Ian plays on a team where ball movement is key and what I like about him is that he seals guys on his back getting the best positioning possible. A D2 dream post player because he puts in the work.
Abib Abib Abib Abib 6'7" | PF Mason | 2024 State OH – R4L Elite 2024
At a legit 6’7 Abib has been a player to track since the weekend before in Chicago. He is a stretch forward that makes shots in bunches. Abib can run off 4 threes before a half. He has good length and solid motor which helps him be effective on the defensive side of the ball. He can rebound and mix things up as well. Abib is a northern prospect that can see his stock elevate from a D2 to LM prospect.
Harry Evans – AUSA Hoops 2023
I’ll admit it I’m a sucker for bigs and the biggest guy in the gym at 7 feet didn’t disappoint me at all. Harry is a typical rim running big man that excels with his back to the basket. He is a big target off pick/roll plays and can be really special if he adds a jump hook. On defense as a footer he is a natural rim protector who has the strength to keep guys off the boards. Evans is a no brainer for D1 schools who like to play with a traditional post player.
