Here are the top-9 PG’s in the 2025 class: (A deep group)
AJ Thomas AJ Thomas 6'4" | PG Eduprize | 2025 State #292 Nation AZ Eduprize (Pictured)
A recent re-class has elite size for the position, he has the proper strength, the wiggle with the ball, the next level court vision and his skill is improving. Just recently he shot the ball well from the arc plus his usual scoring in heavy traffic versus post players.
Bryce Quinet Bryce Quinet 6'3" | PG Notre Dame Prep | 2025 State AZ Notre Dame Prep
One of the top shooters on the list has strength, feel and he is savvy. He changes speeds well and seems to always make the correct decision off of a ball screen. His deep shooting allows him to set up the rest of his game. One of the reasons the Saints made a deep playoff run.
Carlos Coronado Jr Carlos Coronado Jr 6'3" | PG Supreme Academy | 2025 State AZ Coolidge
One of the better facilitators with legit size and athleticism. He throws it down easily on the break, he can change speeds and burst into the lane to score or dime a teammate in style. He shoots the three and is always looking up to make a play.
Kaleel Kelly Kaleel Kelly 6'2" | PG Willow Canyon | 2025 State AZ Willow Canyon
One of the best passers on the list has a strong upper body to absorb paint contact. He threads the needle on the norm as a true play-maker and he can pull-up off the dribble from mid-range. He has a burst of speed to get to the basket and finishes thru traffic.
Dylan Novak Dylan Novak 6'0" | PG American Leadership Academy-Gilbert North | 2025 State AZ ALA Gilbert-North
A sharp shooting lefty may have the deepest range of the group. He has speed, a tight handle and athleticism. He also is an underrated passer when he isn’t firing away from beyond the stripe. He changes speeds well and can get to the rim.
Braden Moore Braden Moore 6'3" | PG Lee County | 2025 State GA Yuma Catholic
A pure point guard is a real table setter. He carried his small school to the state finals and he makes every read off of a live dribble impressively. His upper body strength allows him to get downhill and handle the pounding in the paint. He made some clutch perimeter jumpers including one game winner in the playoffs.
Uriah Tenette Uriah Tenette 5'10" | PG Prescott | 2025 State AZ Prescott
Slowly getting a little bigger, the dynamic point guard is fast and athletic. He has real breakaway speed in the open court and can rise up quickly once he gets to his spots on the floor and pull-up. His passing jumps out at you along with his on-ball defense and overall play.
Brennan Peterson Brennan Peterson 6'0" | PG Notre Dame Prep | 2025 State AZ Notre Dame Prep
A deadly shooter can state the argument of being the top shooting point guard. He has one of those strokes that looks good every attempt. He is more then that as he has a lot of shift to his handle to get into the lane to score or he will find a teammate in stride.
Archie Graves IV Archie Graves IV 6'0" | PG Supreme Academy | 2025 State AZ Central
A pure point guard has one of the tighter handles in the class. He is very quick with the ball in his hands and is hard to stay in front of to get downhill. He can pull-up from mid-range and score in the paint among the post players plus is a star in transition.
