This kid has improved so much. He is a player that will mix it up and and get chippy but it seems to drive him and help him play with passion. Really impressed with the patience his coaches have had with him as he continues to grow and develop. Although he is thin he is stronger than you think. he is shooting better from deep and his activity on the boards is moving in the right direction.
JJ is set to play probably more locked in than he ever has. When he commits to the defensive end of the ball he creates instant offense. His shot has improved and he has always been a good slasher. Excited to see what he will commit to offensively when playing inferior teams and what he does against top notch competition.
This kid is ready to be a full time hooper at Westlake. He is strong and he has the motor to be a lead guard in 6A. He is a player that can keep it simple and get to the rim but he also has the skills to make a move or two to beat his player off the dribble. Watch him shoot the ball as he has a pure stroke from deep. He is a game changer we are excited to watch.
Look out for Noah as he is going to be coming in shooting the lights out as soon as he enters the gym. Really like that he has added something new to his game every year. Look for him to add something new and improve on the skills he currently has as well. One of the best shooters in the class. Will have a great Spring and Summer with the Rebels.
Owen is a player that will get a lot of looks as a big that can really make an impact in the post as he has some solid skills in the paint. The thing that makes him impressive as well is the fact that he can shoot the ball at 15 feet with consistency. After the Spring and Summer when he is hitting his outside shot at 6’8 he is going to pick up a lot of suitors.
Another Alpha PG that elevates his game when the competition is elite. Not only does he not back down he competes and knows when to take over and when to facilitate. He is player that gets the ball to his open players so you have to have your hands ready to shoot. Plays at a different level than most.
