Alex Casares
Alex Casares
Casares impacts the game in a variety of ways. During his first game of the weekend, Casares had his hand in a bit of everything; he was a force defensively, oftentimes playing the point of a full-court 1-3-1 where he stole or tipped numerous passes. He can score from most spots on the floor and has nice playmaking abilities. Casares is a sound threat on either end of the court.
Howard Chase
Howard Chase
Chase is a long and crafty wing player that does a really good job of changing speeds to score. Like I said, this kid is long and crafty so his dribble-drives are always entertaining and unexpected. He plays with great vision and has a knack for making the right play. He’s a good rebounder for his size and also uses that length to give him an advantage on D. Chase is a smart player and this is the trait that I believe helps him find the most success.

As a dominant force in the middle, White makes his presence known defensively through stellar rotations, solid wall-ups, mean blocks, and shots altered. It won’t take many encounters with him in the paint to make you think twice about attacking the basket when he’s under it. Though, he’s not limited to only defense, on the other end, he excels at finishing through contact and can do so with either hand. White is also a solid screener and seems to play with good patience in the paint.
Kenny McFall
Kenny McFall
McFall is a very comfortable ball-handler for his squad. As the lead guard, he controls the pace and does so at a high level. He’s a smart passer and talented scorer. He does a great job of using elusive dribble moves to set up the open man. McFall is very fast, loves to push in transition, and does a really nice job changing speeds. McFall has all the guard skills you want in a PG.
Jeran Barnett
Jeran Barnett
Barnett is a gifted scorer and will give you buckets from everywhere on the court. He has a very tight handle which he uses to blow by defenders and set himself up for easy scores. He has an extended range which was on display Friday night as he cashed in on a pair of near volleyball line triples.
Tye Mwenda
Tye Mwenda
Mwenda put on an offensive clinic on Friday night. The long wing player elevates well and shoots it above his head. This allows him to shoot over top of the defense and knock down some very difficult jumpers. He’s a clutch scorer too as he buried a handful of crucial shots down the stretch. When he isn’t making deep and contested jumpers, Mwenda uses his long strides to get to the rim. Once there, he does a fantastic job of keeping the ball up high and finishing through contact. Mwenda, as a scorer, is the total package.
