Koa is unreal as he is another top Notch Prospect playing up and he is taking names and counting bodies. When he is attacking the rim it looks like any normal person could finish and get an easy lay and Koa on the other hand will stuff it with two hands. This kid is playing on another level as he hoisted the State Championship trophy in Arizona. Koa might be in the Top 5 regardless of class the way he is playing now and he is playing for a program that pumps out NBA talent. He is elite going to the rim on the left wing and right wing. He can contort his body to finishin many ways. He is agile and not just stock on the blocks because he is big. Defensively he is moving his feet and staying in front, he also contest shots in the paint and knows when to attack andwhen to just contest without fouling.
Big Athlete that will body you. Her has outstanding athleticism. He has one of the quickest first jumps and he is such a fantastic facilitator. Coming off of a state championship in Idaho where he was a force. Reminds you of Draymond Green with a lot better scoring punch and shooting. You can run your office through him at the high post or even on the post as he will survey and make some high level reads. His shooting from beyond the arc has improved and defensively he is guarding multiple positions. He played up last year and his 16U team lost twice to Indian Elite in the Championship in South Carolina dn Seal Beach, California. With his size and a few other pieces Utah Prospects will be a contender once again.
Let’s start off with his set up moves. This kid is smooth with those set up moves as he glides laterally into shots or into a position to make another move to the rim. His quickness keeps defenders off of him but if you give him space he is a big time shooter. Superior size and strength at the PG position. You need to be on your game defensively to stop him. He will split double teams and he does not need to get to the rim to score because he is a killer in the mid-range. He gets after it defensively and he also knows how to finish in different ways at the rim after a steal or with the defense collapsing. The Minnesota commit is smooth with it. He is great off the ball and will just light you up as a shooter. Should be one of the best PG’s on the circuit out at Adidas. One thing to watch is that he does not force anything, he lets the game come to him.
This kid is a dog on defense as he will hound you all over the floor and just make it difficult for you on the ball. He is a great help side defender that is just a ball hawk looking to get steals and out on the break. In the open floor he will finish with force above the rim but he also makes the right reads and gets the ball to the right spot as well. He plays with a fearless motor as he flys down the floor with that down hill style. Look for him to be a stat stuffer on the circuit.
