We just wrapped up the first live evaluation period for college coaches on Sunday and now the second quicks off this Friday. As usual, the state of Indiana will be well represented all over the country with college level prospects heading to no fewer than seven different locations. From Phoenix, Arizona to Rock Hill, South Carolina and from Bryan, Texas to Minneapolis, Minnesota, we at Prep Hoops Indiana will have you covered with information on the Hoosier state from every part of the country. Let’s begin with the younger prospects and take a look at eight Class of 2026 prospects from Indiana worth checking out this weekend in their various locations.
A Top 25 prospect in Indiana’s Class of 2026, this talented playmaker showed well on the Adidas Gold Gauntlet during Chapter I last weekend. Now, he will head south to Texas for Chapter II after averaging 12.3 points per game with 5 Star 2026. A name to remember as “next up” at Penn as they graduate the Indiana Mr. Basketball award winner.
One of the top long term prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2026, this 6’8″ big man impressed last weekend with Indy Heat Red. Belcher has excellent potential, can block shots at the rim, and finishes well around the basket offensively. He will be playing with Indy Heat Red 2026 once again this weekend at the Hoop Group Jam Fest in Indianapolis.
As a freshman, Elmore jumped right into the Jennings County lineup and was a significant contributor on a team that went to Semi-State. He is a versatile 6’4″ forward that will play with Grand Park Premier 2026 Red at the Hoop Group Midwest Jam Fest this weekend in Indianapolis. Last weekend, they went 3-1 on the UAA Circuit out in Phoenix.
After a freshman season that saw him finish second in scoring at Northview averaging 9.3 points per game, this talented guard is playing with Indiana Jammers 2026. Goff is an excellent playmaker off of the dribble with high level court vision for his age. One of many very good young players from western Indiana on this team. Will be playing in the Grassroots Showcase this weekend at the Kentucky Expo Center.
Kendrick is a talented point guard coming out of Evansville Memorial that will play with DI Indiana 2026 this weekend at the Grassroots Showcase in Louisville. Gained some valuable varsity experience as a freshman. He is a very good passer, creates for himself and others off of the bounce, and will be active as an on-ball defender. Anxious to see him compete this weekend.
Another star up-and-coming guard at Penn High School, Packer is proving to be one of the elite three-point shooters in Indiana’s Class of 2026. He led 5 Star 2026 to a 2-2 record at the Adidas Gold Gauntlet Chapter I in Nebraska averaging 17 points per game. Most impressively, this 6’2″ guard shot 14-31 from beyond the arc.
Highlights
College programs aren’t going to spend a ton of time this spring watching prospects in the Class of 2026. However, this dynamic playmaker for Indy Heat 2026 is definitely worth the early attention. Already holding a couple of offers, Smith is one of the top players in the state. He averaged 8.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game while going 2-3 on the EYBL Circuit in Atlanta last weekend. He will be in Phoenix this weekend.
Vogt is a bigger, versatile wing playing with Indiana Elite Team Indiana 2026. The prospect from Carmel High School will be down in Texas this weekend for Chapter II of the Adidas Gold Gauntlet. He has a chance to continue developing into a taller shooting threat that can really stretch the floor. A name to remember.
