Ban Yor Ban Yor 6'2" North | 2026 NE | LIfeline Elite Sports 2026/Omaha North (NE)
Yor has improved by a lot since the last time I watched him at Nebraska’s Top 250. He’s really improved on his handle and ability to shift defenders. He was able to blow by his man nearly every time he touched it. If the defense had guarded the drive he was able to create space with a step back or a misdirection. He’s got some solid touch at the rim but did a great job of getting into contact, drawing fouls, and getting to the free throw line. Great rebounder as well for more of a guard/wing. Seemed like every time a shot was missed he was coming away with a defensive board.
Traceson Skalberg | LIfeline Elite Sports 2026/Plattsmouth (NE)
Skalberg is another solid guard prospect from Lifeline. He was super solid defensively. Slides his feet well, keeps the basketball in front but also maintained great pressure. He too forced a lot of on ball turnovers and loose balls. Offensively he didn’t really shoot it much but proved himself as a slasher and an interior finisher. He got himself some buckets on some cuts as well. Knew when to post up on smaller guards in the low post and gave it when he didn’t have a bucket.
Tyler Jansen | LTD Select 2026 Blue/Shawnee Mission South (KS)
Really liked Jansen’s game the Friday night as well but Saturday morning he had really clutched up for his squad. He knocked down the game tying triple before overtime, he almost put it away in double overtime with two free throws, but finished the game off by knocking down a deep two in sudden death. Jansen stayed poised under pressure, shot it well from beyond the arc, but his defense was phenomenal. He poked a lot of balls loose and was just creating havoc picking up the basketball up top.
Mattias Geering Mattias Geering 5'11" | PG Shawnee Mission West | 2026 KS | LTD Select 2026 Blue/Shawnee Mission West (KS)
Geering is another guy who was nearly able to get to the rim at almost any given point. The 5’9 guard has a solid handle and uses it well to get by his on ball defender. His quick bursts of speed after his separation combo make him tough to keep up with let alone contain. He was able to knock down the open triple when opportunity presented itself but he was more of a proven slasher with some touch and finesse at the cup.
Landon Van Pelt | Marcus Denmon Elite 2026/Lee Summit HS (MO)
Van Pelt is a very fundamentally sound big man. Physical on the offensive end, utilizes the pump fake to get defenders jumping, then can draw the foul and finish through defender. Puts himself in position for boards or tip outs on both ends, put back threat as well. Very vocal defensively, called out screens early, and was able to contain the guard during PnR while guard recovered, which was awesome to see coming from the 6’7 big man. Very high energy player with mobility.
