Bryce Mitchell Bryce Mitchell 6'5" | PF Raymore-Peculiar | 2024 State MO (KC Spurs – Weston): A 6’5″ 2024 forward from Lee’s Summit West who played with plenty of activity and plenty of bounce. He could switch out and guard the pick and role on the perimeter and he can also block shots inside. When he got to his dominant left hand, he was very effective on the drive. He threw down a number of dunks during the weekend.

Nelson Shinkle Nelson Shinkle 6'8" | PF Jefferson City | 2024 State MO (Marcus Denmon Select): A 6’8″ 2024 forward from Jefferson City who showcased an overall impressive skill set. He’s long and on the lean side, but he could hold his own inside against physical defense by sitting down and using his footwork to score in either direction and using either hand. His turn and face game is also good as he can drive the ball or knock down the 3-pointer off the catch.
********
Maddox Harris (810 Varsity Elite Blue): A 6’7″ 2025 forward from Piper High (KS) who was very impressive while playing up at the 17U level. He established his position very well inside with his big frame and I was impressed with the patience he showed in making his moves. He could also pass well out of the post when he saw a double team. He also made his free throws.
********
Mason Kemp (KC Spurs – Weston): A 6’7″ 2024 forward from Mill Valley (KS) who is a rugged player inside who got things done in a very business-like manner. When he got his touches on drops offs and offensive boards, he was an excellent finisher. He also defended the post very well.
********
Gideon Cooper (Minnesota Falcons): A 6’8″ 2024 forward who was very disruptive inside with his length and athleticism. He did a very good job of controlling the defensive boards as he limited opposing teams to just one shot on a regular basis. He is an effective shot blocker who protected the rim well, but also contested 3-pointers without fouling. When he did get a touch inside, he had a nice drop step move and good touch to score.
******
Vincent Nixon (Taylor Made Athletes): A 6’5″ 2024 forward who was an effective scorer inside with his footwork and nice shooting touch around the basket. He used very good patience inside as he could execute a drop step well or score over either shoulder. He was also effective on the drive from the high post, where he had a nice runner in the lane.
*******
Tyler Parks (Marcus Denmon Elite): A 6’6″ 2024 forward from North Kansas City did a nice job as a valuable role player. His physicality was good as he didn’t mind the bump and grind inside. He had an impressive put-back dunk in traffic on opening night. He could get a basket inside when needed, but he was content to just rebound and play solid defense.
******
Landon Miller (IAM3 Basketball): An unsigned 6’7″ 2023 forward from Norman (OK) who has excellent length and athleticism. He ran the court with ease and get several buckets in the transition game. He rebounded well and he blocked his share of shots. He played with an impressive motor.
******
An’davantage Bussey (Columbia Supreme): A 6’4″ 2024 power forward from Hickman who is a bit undersized but he made up for it with his tremendous physical strength. He used that strength the push around and muscle opposing bigs throughout the weekend. He stayed low and established his excellent base to keep opposing post players a little further off the block than they want to be.
