He is a smart shooter who takes good shots and is always in the right place at the right time. He's also got solid playmaking skills. Defensively, he gets a handful of steals as he's constantly looking to poke the ball loose from opposing ball-handlers. He gets a lot of steals and almost always converts those into fastbreak scores for himself or a teammate. Shelton is good with both hands and he's a vocal leader too. His on-ball defense is solid.
