Tennessee Edge 16u defeated Hammond IN Hurricanes 2025, 47-36. The team is guard-driven, almost entirely composed of guards. One forward began the game,

Wyatt Gilyard – Tennessee Edge 16u
A Siegel sophomore, Wyatt moved up and back the court very well for a big. He didn’t get many post touches, but appeared competent in traffic. Alas, Gilyard is a 6-foot-5 forward which always reads as tweener. His value to this specific team is high due to their lack of meaningful size.

– Tennessee Edge 16u
Great court awareness. Imari understands how to play fast or slow and showed off good body control in traffic. Committed on the defensive end. Imari and Coach Tony Thompson communicated throughout the game when they played the Hammond Indiana Hurricanes. There were zero plays during which Imari took a break or mentally checked out. Imari was locked in. Even down 2-1 in defensive transition, he committed to the ball and slid off upon the pass.
Craig Lewis Jr. – Tennessee Edge 16u
Christopher Morris – Tennessee Edge 16u
Morris was mostly a pass-first point guard when facing the Hammond Indiana Hurricanes Saturday at the PrepHoops Music City Madness. Ok athlete. Morris needs to get more bulky in order to finish after contact. In the open floor, Christiopher Morris showed off plus speed.
Javonte Hayes – Tennessee Edge 16u
Erratic outside shooting. Very thin. Light on his feet. Probably a point guard? The team features plenty of point guards, so it is challenging to identify.
Javon Curry – Tennessee Edge 16u
Good height for the position. Javon played the head of the 1-2-2 halfcourt zone for stretches. Decent quickness.
