Fred Deere Fred Deere 6'4" | SG St. George's | 2023 TN earned a Walters State offer. It was within minutes of a Spalding University offer. Also, Columbia State offered. Fred shared a few moments of his time just after 5:00 PM Friday evening. The following interview took place via phone call.

Who do you play AAU with this month?
Most of them they reached to me through Twitter.

How did you find out about your offers? Phone call?
Most of them called you. Sometimes they talk to you when you are on a visit.

Do you have a timeline for visits, or will you take any?
I am visiting Columbia soon.

Who was the recent visit that you took?
Spalding.

What did you think of Spalding University?
It was a great school. I liked them and the basketball.

Jakeb Davis Jakeb Davis 6'2" | CG White County | 2023 State TN earned a Johnson University (NAIA) offer this week. He took a visit, and verbally committed Friday. The White County High School graduate camped with PrepHoopsTN two times, earning All-Star of the event the second time around (June 2022).

Tylon Chatman Tylon Chatman 6'0" | PG Haywood | 2023 State TN and Janerus Snipe Janerus Snipe 6'7" | PF Haywood (basketball) | 2023 State TN announced their college commitments within an hour of each other. Though the Haywood teammates announced they would be posting their commitments at 1 PM, Snipe’s came around 20 minutes later. Still, Chatman picked Lee University, a D2 program in Cleveland, TN. They just lost P.J. Smith to Furman University. The program, the last five years, brought in fringe D1 players repeatedly. Chatman is another. Snipe selected Chattanooga State. He will bring them a hard-nosed forward with exceptional physical strength and a strong rebounding commitment.
