Saturday saw a performance where Jaden Constant Jaden Constant 6'2" | SG Grind Prep | 2025 OK WENT OFF for Drive Nation. Team Griffin’s 16U program top their division, setting up a tough match up tomorrow against Expressions in the semifinals. And more from a busy day in Arizona.
It’s been a steady climb for Constant over the last year. From hitting deep triples at Oklahoma State’s team camp, to shooting over 40% from three for the season at Putnam City West; the sharpshooter has consistently proven his bona fides as a quality shooter. This was his loudest performance yet. On Saturday morning in Phoenix against a talented squad from Philly, Constant went off for a game high 25 points. Including a 5-8 performance from beyond the arc. With solid size and some playmaking skills, the 2024 scoring guard is continuing to become an intriguing prospect with his ability to stretch defenses.
Fresh off a new offer from George Mason, “Wolverine” continued to find ways to produce against big foes. On Friday night he was the spark that made it a competitive game against a huge Takeover team from Washington DC. Today, he continued his assault on the east coast teams, with a 21 point and 6 rebound performance against the New Jersey Scholars.
The amount of rebounds and loose balls that Warlick vacuums up against bigger foes never ceases to amaze. Along with those hustle points he racks up, he’s attacking more off the dribble. His unique skillset is proving to be a match up nightmare.
Highlights
Two games against national competition this week, both saw the 2026 star go 5-10 from beyond the arc. As covered last week, there’s a case to be made that the 6 foot 7 wing is the best shooter in Oklahoma’s Class of 2026. Those two shooting performances and the 21.5 points Montonati is averaging continues to add to his resume.
Speaking of elite shooters, the Class of 2025’s top microwave heated up with a 6-8 performance from beyond the arc. Scott had 24 points total, helping his Team Griffin 16U squad to a come from behind victory, which clinched their pool for the weekend. Setting up a big game tomorrow against Expressions, an elite program from the northeast.
The Dale point guard lived at the line during a fierce comeback attempt on Saturday morning. He’s a great example for other guards to look at how to use changing speeds and ball fakes to draw fouls. While he’s not an explosive athlete when considering this level, he kept defenders guessing and uncomfortable, often getting them off their feet. He went to the line 13 times, finishing with 22 points. The second contest saw Forsythe’s point total come down, but he handed out 6 assists to only 1 turnover.
Wilkerson hit the 20 point mark on only 11 shots Pro Skills against Team WhyNot. He followed that performance up with 8 points and 8 rebounds. It appears the skilled forward is starting to find his footing on the national 17U level.
