has been making his way up the rankings and the thing that stands out the most is that he has the size at 6’5 and he has the wiggle that other don’t have to create their own shots. His confidence has really sky rocketed quickly and he is a winner capturing the 4A State Championship and he did not just do it shooting three’s or dominating the ball, he was able to get others involved. He gets that ball out quickly and makes the right reads. He matched up against some EYBL and 3SSB teams very well not to long ago and you can see the growth in his game. He has a high ceiling that he has come close to reaching.
Isaac is one of the best glue guys out there that needs more recognition. With his strength and ability to defend he is just a tough hard nose player to have on a team. His motor is high and he is always willing to make that extra pass and sacrifice for a win. He is a player that should get some notable looks from small schools because he is a winner that has skills as well. His development will take more shape next year as he gets more play on a team that will be a title defender in 6A.
Jayden was a player that was flying under the radar this past year and although he had a good year he was a new name. He will be running with Kongo this Spring and Summer and he has a solid skill set that can have him as a lead guard or off the ball. He has some size and ability to play either and when he is off the ball he can shoot the ball and stretch the floor to help open lanes for players looking to attack the rim.
Otavio is a player that has size and strength and is built to be a combo guard at the next level. With strength down on the blocks he can really take it to smaller defenders. His high school team likes to pressure and run a lot so when he does get in transition he can fill those lanes out wide and hit three’s on the wings and in the deep corner. You can see that he has a high IQ as he is a big time stat stuffer. He is a good scorer at all three levels and he is athletic at 6’5 and 200 lbs. he can get up and move. Would be an ideal player for a D2 or NAIA school.
Stockton surprised a lot of people with his improvement on both ends of the floor. On one end he started defending a lot better than he has in the past and he was able to move his feet better. He still has room to improve that aspect of his game. On the offensive side of things he really has this unpredictable game and a quick trigger. His hot has improved this past year as it looks more fluid and he had a lot of tough buckets fall for him. His handle has improved as well and he is just a player that continues to emerge. If he puts in work this offseason he is going to be a solid guard in 6A.
