NBBA, Lakeshow, NorCal Elite, Infinite and a few others gathered this past weekend to prepare for the upcoming Live Spring Period later this month.
Julian Vaucher Julian Vaucher 6'7" | SF Las Lomas | 2025 State CA-N 6’7 Wing, Las Lomas, Infinite 16’s
He’s a versatile prospect that’s only going to get better. He has a good set of skills for the wing position. He’s likes to play fast getting up and down the court looking to knock down 3’s, make a pass or finish at the rim in transition. He can set up in the half-court and knock down 3’s in the corner on the catch, or with movement along the perimeter. He can handle in transition with good passing and get into the paint for jumpers. He’s a rising prospect in 2025 class.
Tru Kendrick 6’6 F, Vanden, Lakeshow 16’s Elite, Adidas Gold
Kendrick is a bit on the raw side still developing his skills. He has a solid body, and can move people with his lower body. Playing 16U he has some time to develop his footwork and other skills. He’s kind of deliberate, he gathers himself and goes up strong off two in the paint for rebounds and points. He threw one down off two at the rim. He has lengthy arms to effect shots. We’ll see more of this prospect.
Jackdan Eyike Jackdan Eyike 6'2" | SG Benicia | 2025 State CA-N 6’1 G/F, Benicia, NBBA 16U UA Rise
He’s a muscular prospect who’ll continue to develop his over all game. He has some tools to work with. He can get a bucket taking it strong to the basket making good use of his body and strength. He did a good job running the court, making the pass forward and going to get rebounds. He has a pull-up jumper
Josh Green Josh Green 6'1" | SG Bishop O'Dowd | 2025 State CA-N 6’2 SG, Bishop O’Dowd, Lakeshow 16’s Elite, Adidas Gold
He’s a steady prospect with good fundamentals, he takes care of the ball, doesn’t make many mistakes. He needs to get stronger, but he’s a decent ball handler and passer. He moves well off the ball looking for an open 3 point shot. He can maneuver his way in closer for better looks and floaters in the paint.
Deuce Walker Deuce Walker 5'10" | SG St. Patrick-St. Vincent | 2025 State CA-N 6’0 PG, St. Patrick-St. Vincent, NBBA 16U UA Rise
This was Walkers first outing with the team so he’ll be competing for minutes for now. He’s a speedy guard with slick handles and quickness to get by defenders on his way to the basket. He’s fast in transition pushing the ball, or filling the lanes. He sees the court to make the pass up, he can come down and knock down 3’s with good rhythm on the wings. He has good speed and quickness. We’ll see more of him.
Bryce Patton 5’9 PG, De La Salle, Lakeshow 16’s Adidas Gold
He’s a pass first point guard with good skills. He handles the ball well in half-court and in transition passing ahead to players who’ll put the ball in the net in stride. He has the ability to penetrate into the paint and kick to shooters, or dump offs in the paint. He has a short pull-up jumper and can hit the open 3. He was on JV in HS. He has the foot speed to stay on ball. He’s on Wright’s Watch List.
Jaden McClane Jaden McClane 6'4" | SF Clayton Valley | 2025 State CA-N 6’6 F, Clayton Valley Charter, NorCal Elite 17s Red
It was our first look at the solid body forward who’s still developing his skill set. He’s working on his footwork, and movements. He sets solid screens, before heading to the basket. Right now he seems to work best around the basket going for rebounds, and taking it up strong. He’s strong enough to hold his own defending in the paint at this level. He’s on the Wright’s Watch List
