Highlights
Mayson played really well over at the WCE Tournament and he showed how he could be used at the high school level. He is basically a Swiss Army Knife that can rebound the ball on one end and run the lead guard position at the other end making his way up the floor. Defensively he jumps those lanes and gets out ahead of the pack. With some size at around 6’4 he can get in the mid-post and work. he does have some bounce so he will surprise you as he elevates on finishes. Great early showing by Mayson.
On a team that is stacked with size this AZ Unity squad is likely going to see a zone and Mason is a zone buster. He can spread it really wide as he is in the corners but he is also a great entry passing guard and he is going to have a good combo of three-pointers and assist with the talent on this team.
Aaron seems to be taking that game too new heights. It is great to see him flourish playing his style of ball. He is a three-level scorer that can get rolling quickly. His attack mode is always on display. Really had a great showing over at the WCE event recently. He is a player that is going to have a breakout Grassroots Season.
Tanner is electric and you can see his confidence level rise. He has faced off against some strong players and he is learning how to step his game up. He is lanky at the PG position which really helps him be off the ball at times. His shot and driving ability is taking that next step. He will fill out physically in college and will be a find. Stay tuned.
Highlights
Big body guard that can shoot the rock. He plays like a seasoned vet. He make smart plays and moves near the rim. He doesn’t just hang out in the perimeter he actually moves around and is looking for open spots away from the ball. You can put him as the screener and he is big enough to work the post and he is a good pick and pop guy. Projecting as a D2, NAIA prospect.
