Highlights
Christian is on a new 3SSB Team that is based out of Washington and I think that their style of play suits him a bit. They do not have a ball dominant guard as they do move the ball around and this actually opens things up for him to work. He has been able to get some solid looks from deep just filling the lane and at times he is just the guy that ends up with the ball in his hands on the swing. Uses his athleticism on attacks and has just been a solid all-around guard with great size off the ball. His team went 4-0 recently and took home the championship against some solid early season competition.
Gage Ontiveros
Gage Ontiveros
Gage should be on a lot of NWAC Schools big board. He is big mobile and has room to develop. Right now he is solid inside and he does have some patience when he gets touches as he pump-fakes and gets fouled or finishes with ease. He is going to be a player that catches that ball deep in the paint and just be tough to stop. Good on the boards as he uses his body to shield off players to reel in the ball and he runs the floor.
This kid is a lot better than he gets credit for. He is bigger than you might think and he can handle the ball and against pressure. and get that offense rolling. He will be a key player for Hard Knox this Spring. Shoots the ball well and he can get in the paint snaking his way in and out. If he can start creating more and hitting those open looks he is going to be a big time one two combo when he gets back on the high school scene.
Highlights
Tough, tough player that has been working that IQ and he is doing it on the defensive end. Sometimes teams have tried to expose his size guarding bigger but he is wiggly and does not let anything come his way too easy. Great at getting the ball to the right spots and he does attack the rim strong as he displays that strong ball handling. He will be a super tough player for years to come over at Mountain View.
Carter has been developing and he is a lead ball handler right now. A lot of room to improve on the ball. He is a strong ball handler and as he puts on some weight like his older brother he is going to be able to shuu away defenders with that strong arm bar. He is on a team that can shoot the ball so he is going to get his fair share of looks but he will also rack up assist. Looking forward to watching him develop.
