The event showcased a number of the top AAU programs including Compton Magic, Las Vegas Punishers, DreamVision, Team Inland, Strive for Greatness, Cali Stars, I-Can All Stars, and Pacific Hoops.
Brayden Burries Brayden Burries 6’4″ | SF Roosevelt | 2025 State #13 Nation CA-S had an impressive game against Compton Magic 16U Elite, showing off his ability to score at all three levels. Burries displayed great strength in finishing through contact with either hand, highlighting his versatility as a scorer. He also showed off his explosive athleticism and quick first step, which allowed him to create separation and get to the rim with ease. Brayden was also active on the defensive end, playing passing lanes effectively. However, he could improve as a team defender, where he occasionally got caught out of position. Burries has all the tools to be an impact player at the next level.
Elzie Harrington Elzie Harrington 6’5″ | PG St. John Bosco | 2025 State #25 Nation CA-S showed off his defensive versatility and offensive skill set in a recent game against Compton Magic 16U Elite. Harrington used his length to his advantage on both ends of the court, scoring over smaller guards and around larger forwards inside. His length and strength also made him a valuable asset on the defensive end, allowing him to guard multiple positions and effectively rebound the ball. Harrington’s great vision and playmaking ability were also on display as he created numerous scoring opportunities for teammates. Harrington is and should continue to be one of the more sought after players in his class.
Koa Peat was dominant in his performance against Las Vegas Punishers 17U. Peat showed great body control for someone of his size, and he used his advanced handle to create opportunities for himself and others. He also demonstrated his ability to hit mid-range jump shots with consistency, making him a dangerous threat on the perimeter and adding to his offensive arsenal. On the defensive end, Peat used his size and length to block shots and control the glass. Peat is one of the most complete players in his class in the country and should only continue to get better.
Brian Amuneke had a strong game against Strive for Greatness 16U showcasing his strength, power, speed, and agility. Amuneke was able to use his physicality and athleticism around the basket and finish with good touch. Brian is a strong athlete with great explosiveness, which makes him a tough matchup for defenders and especially difficult to deal with in the open court. He has a good understanding of his growing physical capabilities and is able to move with great control.
