Over 100 teams across three age groups will be up in the Windy City for some great matchups featuring some of the best talent the Prep Hoops Grit Region has to offer. For full coverage of the event you can follow me on Twitter @BRamseyKSR as I will have boots on the ground throughout the weekend. Here are eight prospects worth making an effort to watch while in the Chicago area.
Austin had a spectacular junior season at Andrean averaging 18.6 points per game while making 75 three-pointers at a 45% clip. He is a smaller guard, but he can create his own shot off of the dribble, obviously shoots it at a high level, and puts pressure on the defense at all times. Look for him to continue scoring it a lot this weekend for Indiana Game.
Holmes has a ton of upside and should be a fun one to watch this spring as he continues to develop while playing with 94 Feet Elite 2025. The 6’4″ wing has excellent athleticism and length. He is a talented slasher and driver on the offensive end while having the tools to be a disruptive force on the defensive end. Definitely a guy to track this summer coming out of Gary West Side High School.
A Top 75 prospect in the Prep Hoops Illinois Class of 2024 rankings, Jones is a lightening quick point guard out of Plainfield East High School that will be playing with Team Ten Jabari Parker 2024 this weekend. He is a dynamic playmaker, creates his own shot off of the bounce, has a smooth pull-up jumper, and has some explosiveness when getting off of the floor to finish. Definitely one to watch at the Chi-Town Tip-Off.
Highlights
One of the best distributors and playmakers in the Illinois Class of 2025. Kvamme had 140 assists to just 25 turnovers during the high school season for DePaul Prep. The 5’11” point guard has a tight handle, can make pinpoint passes, and is excellent at getting a piece of the paint off of the bounce. Catch him playing with All in Athletics this weekend at the Chi-Town Tip-Off.
Fransco Lee

Lee is a versatile wing/forward that attacks closeouts well, is really talented in transition, and can play above the rim at the end of his drives. The 6’5″ lefty will play with OPS Black 2024 this spring after averaging 10.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game for Bridgeport (MI) High School as a junior. Intriguing upside.
Ranked as the #32 prospect currently in a deep Class of 2025 by Prep Hoops Indiana, Sampson is explosive off of the bounce and can get to the rim consistently. He is a creative finisher at the end of his drives, a solid jump shooter, and has the ability to make plays for his teammates around him. Fun guard to watch for a talented OPS Black 2025 squad.
Ranked as the #30 prospect in the state of Wisconsin, this 6’9″ forward dominated the high school season at Marathon before hitting the Chi-Town Tip-Off with Wisconsin Blaze National Inferno 2024. The talented big man averaged 24.0 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks per game as a junior. One of the top big men to watch for college programs coming out to the event this weekend.
Williams was one of the top scorers in the state of Missouri as a junior dropping an incredible 30.8 points per game. The left-hander is deadly from beyond the arc and plays with a nice change of pace. His scoring ability will be on display this weekend while playing for Mid Mo Elite 2024.
