They are going to have to push the pace, up their defensive pressure on the ball, and let it fly from deep once they create an open look for each other. This group comes together and plays really well. They seem to work off of each other as if they have played together for awhile now. They are sure to draw some eyes this year on the road. This spring/summer make sure to catch them at any of the tournament below!

Shooting guard with not the most conventional shooting stroke but he gets it to go in at such a high rate, who cares. Does an incredible job of finding his open spots on the three point line, creating a better look for himself when the ball is rotated. Can also put it on the floor and finish at the rim on a consistent basis. An all around athlete with good instincts on the floor on both offense and defense. He gets a lot of tips/deflections/steals because of it.

Plays more of a point guard compared to shooting guard but has a solid stroke with nice balance and form. Really good putting the ball on the floor and getting past his initial defender. Good at creating space and opportunities for his teammates once he gets to the middle of the lane. Possesses a really nice layup package as well. Giving himself unlimited options while attacking his defenders. Defensively is just like his brother. Jumps to the ball creating a lot of tips/deflections/steals on a consistent basis.

Lengthy lefty with a nice scoring ability. Is really solid next to the hoop and really solid behind the three point line. You can start to see he is expanding his game to the mid-range level with how he is handling the ball more and putting it on the floor. A lot of promise looking forward with this one. Has great size and skill on the court to make a positive impact for a lot of teams out there who need a lengthy player who plays with a lot of heart and dedication.

Quick guard with an even faster first step when attacking the hoop. Very good vision and passing ability when he is going downhill against an opponent. Welcomes contact while trying to finish at the rim on a regular basis. Attacks the hoop with the intent of finding an open teammate but has the ability to change that up and get his own if need be. Consistent shooting stroke when given time. Good at stepping into his three point looks that he gets and holding his follow through after he puts it up.

A mixed skillset at the guard position. I wouldn’t label him as a point guard or a shooting guard. He has the ability of both in different ways. Is a solid handler of the ball who can get to the hoop on a consistent basis on offense while also being able to catch and shoot at a consistent rate. Possess a nice floater and the ability to finish at the hoop over a bigger defender. Overall, a really solid piece at the guard position for this team who should have some nice success this spring/summer with the Jam.

Another quick guard who moves well. Definition of a team player who wants success for his team, doesn’t matter what he has to do to get it. Does all the intangible things you want in a player while being a vocal presence on the floor. A lot of people out there talk about players who keep teams together, give it all they have, and contribute in little ways all over the court, that player is Connor. A glue guy for the Waukee Jam.
Kaeler Beebe
Kaeler Beebe
A kid with a motor that just won’t stop. Plays with pace and control. Never in a rush with a good head on his shoulders. Has high IQ on the floor with a good work ethic. Possesses a ton of endurance, to a point it seems like he never gets tired. Can do some positive things for his team when given the opportunity. Pesty on defense. The type of player you can have guard someone full-court all game, causing havoc, and he will never tire out or give up on you or his team.
Athletic guard with nice drive. Beautiful shooting stroke from either mid-range or behind the three point line along with a quick release. Can handle and put it on the floor while usually being a better dribbler under pressure. Type of player who can hit big shots in big moments. Type of player you draw up a play for an open jumper to win the game. Good amount of promise with his skill and athletic ability. Keep an eye on this one.

Forward who moves really well up and down the floor. Does a good job rim running, going either way. Pretty solid inside the paint on both sides of the floor. On offense he can post and hit you with a number of different moves while being able to switch onto a smaller guard and stay with them on defense. One of the most, if not thee most, physical players on this Waukee Jam team. Cleans up a lot of messes on the boards at a consistent rate.
Gaige Sneed
Gaige Sneed
All-around guard type player. One of the first to be the floor for a loose ball or to go help his teammate up off of the floor. Shows some really nice moments of making good choices leading to successful finishes by himself or creating open looks for others around him. Moves off of the ball well and spaces the floor on a consistent basis. Keeps everyone in check and does a solid job of being a vocal presence on the court.
