Here’s a quick look at the Oregon players that will be on the 17U, 16U, and 15U squads.
17U
Jaden Steppe Jaden Steppe 6'8" | SF Tualatin | 2024 State #289 Nation OR (2024 Tualatin) – The two-time 6A state champ will now look to make an impression among the country’s best players starting this weekend. He proved himself as a credible inside/outside threat this past season to the tune of 19.6 points and 7.6 rebounds and he’s an underrated passer as well. Steppe already holds a handful of D-I offers and is looking to add more this spring.
Utrillo Morris Utrillo Morris 5'8" | PG Roosevelt | 2024 State OR (2024 Roosevelt) – Arguably the top point guard in his class in the state, Morris missed some time due to injury but when has healthy, was very difficult to contain and averaged 15.9 points, 4.6 assists, and 2.2 steals. His outside jumper has improved so defenses can’t just hone in on his shifty moves to the basket. Still looking for his first offer there are several schools that will be watching him closely during club ball.
Terrence Hill (2024 Roosevelt/AZ Compass) – After spending this past year at loaded AZ Compass Prep, Hill is back home to run with the Rotary Rebels and bring along his high-scoring ways. While we didn’t get a chance to watch him play during the 2022-23 season, the word on the street is that he remains a versatile scorer and with all the talent around him at Compass, was a willing passer as well. He’s another guy hoping to amp up his recruitment this spring.
16U
Winters Grady (2025 Lake Oswego) – One of the state’s top bucket-getters – Grady’s scoring average of 26.6 ppg ranked only second to Jackson Shelstad Jackson Shelstad 6'0" | PG West Linn | 2023 State #55 Nation OR in 6A – the super sophomore can do it at all three levels that he fell just a hair short of an incredible 50/40/90 fg/3pt/ft shooting mark (49.7/41.0/88.3). His offensive exploits should translate to the EYBL as he adjusts to facing even better athletes. Currently listed at Lake Oswego, his whereabouts next season have yet to be officially announced.
Isaac Carr Isaac Carr 6'3" | CG Central Catholic | 2025 State #75 Nation OR (2025 Central Catholic) – A recent verbal commit to the University of Portland, Carr no longer has the pressures of trying to impress college coaches and can just play his game – which showed more diversification as a sophomore. He remains a deadeye shooter from long range, but with additional muscle on his frame, he can now be very effective getting to the basket and finishing around the rim.
Nate Bunn Nate Bunn 6'0" | CG Central Catholic | 2025 OR (2025 Central Catholic) – Bunn did not play this past season at Central Catholic, but grew up playing in the Rebels program and is listed on the roster.
15U
Adrian Montague Adrian Montague 6'1" | PG Jefferson | 2026 State OR (2026 Jefferson) – “Fuzzy” is the only Oregonian on the roster. The point guard is coming off a tremendous debut season for Jefferson, one where he finished as the team’s second-leading scorer at 12 points per game. A good all-around scorer and shooter, the lefty proved that his number one rankings for the Class of 2026 in the state was justified.
