Ngoyi’s ability to not only get to the rim but finish at the rim is one of the best in Nebraska’s 2025 class on the guard side. Loves to catch in split stance off reversals and get right to the rim. Uses long and slower strides closer to the rim to finish under control and comfortably, has great touch as well. Shifty ball handler and a tough guard to stay in front of. Dishes it if the downhill attack isn’t open and a capable shooter from deep.
Healy is a very fun guard to watch. His ability to facilitate and some of the passes he makes are some high level dishes. Tight handle, poised under pressure, lot of jabs and separation moves, fidgety feet. Very unpredictable player to guard. Don’t let his unselfishness and shot creating ability for others fool you though, he can go finish at the cup as well, utilizing his soft touch.

Really like Bykerks mobility as more of an interior player. Very fundamentally sound on defense. High hand on closeouts and shooters, guards screens well, contains guards on switches, and gets after it on the boards. Very effective mid range shooter. Can knock it down from high post, mid post, short corner, and on the block. Has confidence scoring anywhere inside the arc but will step out and shoot the triple.
Steele had a phenomenal 2022 summer last year and I’m sure this summer will be no different. Very unselfish guard with some great vision in the half court set. Solid handle that can create shots and open looks if defense collapses. Strong two foot finishes at the rim, can go up quicker with a one foot athletic finish. Very solid shooter from beyond the arc as well.
