Prep Hoops Kentucky scout Brandon Ramsey and Prep Hoops Florida scout Ross Van De Griek are on the grounds of the MidAmerica Sports Center in Louisville for the Grit Region Kick Off. Here is who has stood out this morning on Day 1 of the event:
The 5-10 freshman guard plays a mature game beyond his years as he learned how to initiate the offense as a primary ball-handler. Anglin controlled the tempo and pace throughout the game leading the Lexington Eagles to a win this morning. Anglin can score on all three levels and has gotten better as a on-the-ball defender as the season went on.
Highlights
The 6-2 combo guard showed flashes that he can play multiple positions when he’s on the floor. He brought great court vision and unselfishness this morning helping lead Kentucky Hoops to a win over NEBC 2024 this morning. He is an efficient playmaker where he was making the extra pass or knowing when to shoot the basketball. Roark was also very quick on the defensive end jumping into the passing lanes and turning defense into offense.
The 5-9 guard is very quick when he has the basketball in his hands, as he is always looking to attack the basket. Holloman is also an efficient passer and was unafraid to finish around the rim with contact. Holloman’s playmaking abilities and unselfishness also took a rise to the occasion as he dished out some crisp passes to cutters throughout the morning.
The 6-2 shooting guard was lights out this morning for Kentucky Vision 2025 scoring 18 points on a pair of made 3-pointers in the win over NEBC 2025. Summers brought energy on both ends of the floor cleaning up the glass limiting any second chance scoring opportunities. Summers played with a ton of heart for his size. He will be a name to know as we gear into the Grassroots season.
Highlights
The 6-2 point guard was very explosive in the open floor this morning for Vision Elite 2024. Hall is not your typical-sized guard as he can also muscle his way to the rim from time to time. He is an accurate passer and a pure shotmaker when his timing is right. A talented prospect to watch for sure on both ends of the floor.
