Prep Hoops scouts Allen Pettigrew, Cam Rickers, Kyle Sandy, Terry Drake and Ross Van De Griek will be on the grounds for the event. Here is the Top 16U All-Tournament team from this weekend:
Hayden Umoren
Hayden Umoren
The 6-3 shooting guard was on full display this weekend at the A-Town Showdown. His perimeter shooting stood out to many as he scored off the dribble and off the catch. Umoren shot nearly 40 percent from beyond the arc and helped lead Class Act Sports to a 1-3 weekend. On the defensive side he was sensational as well blocking shots with his length and frame. He will be one to watch as he gears up for his junior season at Marietta.
Ely Elegado

The 6-2 guard was a floor general and always moving with and without the basketball. Elegado’s high basketball IQ and decision making were critical this weekend for IE Fire Elite. Elegado was proficient from beyond the arc and around the rim shooting nearly 45 percent from the field overall in the four games. His best outing was against the North Florida Hurricanes where he scored a team-high 23 points.
Brevon Burns

The 6-5 wing had highlight reel type plays including a few vicious dunks against Class Act Sports 2025. Burns used his size and frame to his advantage in most of the matchups this weekend where he had an edge for the basket. On the defensive side his energy and body placement was contagious as it fed off his teammates as well.

The 6-2 point guard was a natural guard this weekend playing for IE Fire Elite this weekend at the A-Town Showdown. His ability to get his teammates involved was what stood out to me as he was making unselfish plays in all four games. His attack for the basket was unmatched as he showed quickness and can also become a viable perimeter threat when shooting with confidence.
Jackson Taggart
Jackson Taggart
The 6-7 power forward was dominant on the interior all weekend as his size and frame were an advantage in all four games. His smooth touch around the rim along with his footwork on the defensive end to guard smaller players didn’t let down either. His ability to shoot from the outside was what stood out to me as he knocked down a couple of 3-pointers.
