Darrell Morris, Jr., 2024, WCE UAA 17
Morris is one of the premier on-ball defenders in Southern California and his energy, effort and ability to speed opponents up doesn’t take a break during club ball season. The 5-foot-9 point guard is one of the quickest and hardest-playing prospects you’ll find in any gym, plays with a ton of confidence and chip on his shoulder. Morris, Jr.’s best offensive trait is his ability to get out in transition and blow-by defenders for paint touches and finishes.
EJ Vernon EJ Vernon 6'7" | SF Crossroads | 2025 State #241 Nation CA-S , 2025, WCE UAA 16
Vernon doesn’t blow the competition away with explosive athleticism but his versatility and basketball IQ on both ends of the floor are what make him such an effective player. The 6-foot-6 wing/forward has the size, strength and mobility to guard multiple positions and those same traits, combined with his skill-set, lend to his inside-out offensive impact. Vernon is a great cutter off the ball as he finds gaps in the defense for easy catch and finishes and he has the ball skills and passing ability to play a point-forward role.
Jake Hall Jake Hall 6'2" | SG Carlsbad | 2025 State #336 Nation CA-S , 2025, WCE UAA 16
Hall burst onto the scene his freshman season as one of the premier scorers in San Diego regardless of class and followed that up with a sophomore season which confirmed that statement. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard showed Saturday that his game will not change a bit with his new West Coast Elite club teammates as his perimeter jump shot was on-point throughout the event. Hall is a lethal catch-and-shoot guy who can also create shots for himself off the bounce.
Mazi Mosely Mazi Mosely 6'4" | PG St. Francis | 2025 State #51 Nation CA-S , 2025, WCE UAA 16
Mosely broke out as one of the best 2025 prospects in SoCal after a big season under the tutelage of the St. Francis coaching staff. The 6-foot-5 point guard is a dynamic playmaker in transition and half-court settings where his ability to blow-by or break defenders down in isolation and get into the lane opens up a ton of scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. What makes Mosely such an effective lead guard is his willingness to be unselfish and hit open shooters.
Nasir Meyer Nasir Meyer 6'3" | CG Agoura | 2024 NLG , 2024, WCE UAA 17
Meyer was one of the biggest stock risers of the high school season after putting together an impressive junior campaign at Agoura High and now he will take his game on the road with West Coast Elite. The 6-foot-5 combo guard is an elite playmaker in every sense of the term. He’s a smooth and shifty ball handler and attacker of the basket who can score at the rim over or around length and can also pull up for mid-range and three-point shots off the dribble. Meyer is kind of a modern day guard in the sense that he can play alongside other guards due to his off-ball awareness and ability to play in a multi-guard offense.
