SubscribeThere was a tremendous level of talent that was shown this season. Players really put all they had onto the court and left nothing behind. One of the things that shocked me this season was the talent of freshman players. Here are a few players from the class of 2026 that had no problem adjusting to the high school game.

Christen is an excellent shooter off the catch. He keeps his composer when shooting and can knock down easy shots from beyond the ark. Can put the ball on the floor to create shots and can score at multiple levels. All around great player with a bright future ahead.

Shelton is an excellent floor general. Already knows how to direct traffic and command the offense on the floor. Quick at getting the ball up the floor. Always keeps his head up to see the floor. More of a pass first kind of player, but is definitely not afraid to drive the ball against the tough defense.

Sandy is a great three-level scorer. He can play in the post down low or handle the ball outside. Every time he gets the ball, he is never afraid to look for a scoring opportunity. Great rebounder and shot blocker on defense as well. Can guard any position and is a true hustler on the floor.
Ferris is very confident with the ball for only being a freshman. Great passer with excellent vision of where his teammates are. Tough and finishes through contact with ease. Has a nice floater and mid-range game as well. On defense, he is up in his man and backs down from no competition.

Thomas is a true slasher. Great at getting and finishing at the rim. Skilled ball handler when getting by his defender with a quick first step. Runs the floor in transition and finds the open lanes. On defense, he is great at positioning himself to come up with steals or loose balls.
