One of the good additions that Wasatch Academy was able to get over to help in their NIBC run. With a great motor and stellar play he was able to lock in an offer and commit soon after to a program in Southern Utah University that is quickly gaining ground with their excellent play and production. With good shooting ability at the Pg positions he will be a threat at the next level as he forces teams to make a tough decision on pick n’ rolls because they will not be able to go under. He breaks into the Top 10 as a top notch prospect heading to a D1.
Elijah was a bright spot over at Roy as a SF Elijah has been playing well all year. Good high quality game 15 feet and in. Could be a great addition to a small school looking to add a high academic talent.
Owen was one of Brighton’s best players this year that did not get the recognition he deserved. He played in a region that was tough and he showed up to play every night and put in work. He was dominating the boards on the defensive end and when it came to crashing the boards on the offensive end he was always active. He created a lot more scoring opportunities for his team they way he would play and the motor he had. He does have that next level motor.
Alex was one of those ultimate glue guys on a team that was guard dominant. Alex was guarding bigs he was using his mobility and he was a player that did not a play ran for him, he was simply active and finding ways to make positive plays. Undersized as a forward but he plays with so much energy that at times you do not notice.
Highlights
Ethan is an unreal athlete that can play at the next level. The NWAC should be all over him but he can land on a D3,D2 or NAIA. He could be one of those sleeper prospect that simply played on a rural that can excel at the next level.
Great size for a combo guard that can play a few guard positions. Might be a small school prospect but played against some of the best players in the state in region 4. He is battle tested and can shoot the ball.
Kyle showed that he could shoot the ball but he also battles on the boards as well. With the ability to do whatever he needs to, to stay on the floor makes him an interesting prospect.
Highlights
Off the radar, sleeper call him what you want but this 7’0 kid is available and he can move. He can protect the paint and although he is still raw he has the unteachable talent in height for sure.
Lone Peaks sharp shooter makes the list and the kid can shoot. He is streaky but when he is on he is dangerous out in the perimeter. Pair him up with someone that can drive and kick and he is at his best.
Another solid all-around guard out of Westlake, they produce these kids every year.
