Brody was clicking last night as he was making plays, and rebounding like crazy like he usually does. Brody rattled off 26 points and was locked in from deep as he hit 4 three-pointers. It is demoralizing when a kid with his size is not only dominating the boards but is also shooting lights out from deep. Like we have said before when Brody is locked in and the ball is moving he comes through big time and he helps his team make another State Championship trip.
Jaxson continues to show different aspects of his game that simply help his team win. Thta is exactly what you want from a PG, to modify their game in order to win games. There are times when he has been really active with his creating and getting other involved and then there are times like last night when he is scoring more and very active on the boards. Last night he was really good on the boards as he pulled down 8 rebounds. Great showing last night.
Highlights
Blake was out there doing the little things to help his team win that might not show up on the stat sheet. He was taking smart fouls and taking carges as he does such a good job positioning himself to get any kind of advantage. He was agressive and he was finding cutters when he was in the post as multiple players sut down the middle. Even though he did not rack up assist on those passes he was the player that helped collapse the defense and got the ball moving that ended up in the hands of an open shooter or player that makes their way to the basket. Blake had a big double-double that helped propel his team to punch their ticket to the state championship.
Highlights
Ashton had some really good guard play with a mix of driving to the basket and also using some shooting to balance out his attacks. Ashton was really huge on rebounds. He had one rebound where he was in the perimeter and he read the shot and speed his way to wards the rim before anyone could put a body on him and he timed the miss and caught it in the air and was able to get a put-back in a crucial situation. He also scored a few big buckets overall but his activity on the offensive glass was just the difference maker.
