The 2023 player rankings are fresh and final. Admire the best centers we have, the strongest at the top since James Wiseman and Malcolm Dandridge graduated in 2019. Depth is a glaring weakness in this position though.

Signed to SLU (St. Louis University), Brock is a gregarious, fun-loving ogre-strong young man. Physically, he is ready to play day one at the D1 level. Rebounds his area at an elite level. Will hit an occasional wide-open three pointer. Vice is not going to deter a D1 wing coming off a pick long, but he will not be lost or worthless in that vulnerable scenario. Sets a good, firm screen. Works for his teammates.

is lighter on his feet than Vice without the mammoth strength and physical toughness defensively. Gazzo is a faceup four, at times, and Ole Miss can absolutely expect some mid-range success from him. Even though Ole Miss replaced their entire basketball coaching staff, Gazzo remains signed. Typically, the player turnover when a new coach comes in is extremely high, but Gazzo is currently set for his freshman season with Ole Miss, as of now.

wrapped a phenomenal senior season, as District 9-4A 1st Team All-District, an honor he earned as a junior too. Rebounded like a vulture clawing for scraps. Desperate, hungry, tenacious. Burch’s team was very good (24-9), losing to eventual State Runner-Up Independence High. Green Hill also captured the school’s first District Tournament Title.

Throwback big. Decent touch around the rim. Dawson’s biggest shortcoming is a lack of explosiveness. He does not play above the rim, which is concerning for at 6-foot-9.
