Satvinder Singh Satvinder Singh 6'2" | SG HS for Law Enforcement and Public Safety | 2023 NY G Sr Epic High School (Queens)
Singh has led his Epic School all the way to the Finals against Transit Tech with some monster-scoring games throughout this tournament. In his first matchup vs my alma mater Tottenville, he dropped 35 points and most of the 35 inside of the 3-point line. Sigh also dished out 7 assists with 6 rebounds. Had only 9 points in the next round vs Mckee but bounced back huge with a 22 and 28-point game vs Brooklyn High School and Murry on the way to playing for the PSAL A Division championship vs Transit Tech. The senior guard can get buckets with ease since the start of his HS career and looks to end it with a title.
Temitope Alao G Sr Transit Tech CTE
Alao’s post-season run has been a thing of beauty. He took a jump in his scoring these PSAL playoffs and Transit Tech has had some impressive scoring displays as they head into the final. He has 17 in their opening matchup vs Hunter to go along with 5 dimes and followed that game with a 24-point outing vs Thomas Edison and got the basket with ease which has been a staple of his game. Alao then dropped 18 and then a double-double in the semis 16 points and 10 rebounds vs Dewitt and if Transit Tech were to win it all it would be because Alao makes his impact by getting into the paint and grabbing boards!!
Kalifa Ouattara F Sr Murry Bergtraum
The playoffs didn’t end the way Kalifa wanted to but man did he put on a show in Class A playoffs! One of the more talented players in NY and it showed in these playoffs. Averaged a triple-double yeah I said that a TRIPLE DOUBLE!!! He might have been the most impressive player in this Class A playoffs. He showed his versatility and that he’s a dog on the defensive end of the court.
Jomauri Pena G Sr Dewitt Clinton
Pena’s passing ability has been on point all season avg 7 APG but took another step in the playoffs. Averaging nearly 9 APG and big reason why they were dominating teams until they eventually fell to Transit Tech but still had a great playoff run. Scoring was down but Clinton had so many blowouts and didn’t need his scoring. His ability to get his own and distribute has been shown all year and he definitely showcased it in the playoffs.
Ashton Reynolds F Jr Transit Tech
Along with his teammate Alao, Reynolds is a big part of why Transit is playing for the CHIP! One of the better two-way players in Brooklyn he showed out big this playoffs averaging a double-double and locking up players. Had a dunk vs Dewitt that had the gym going crazy and some key blocks that helped lead his team to the finals. Love this kid’s game and he’ll be key in the Finals!!
