Julian displayed one of the most impressive scoring seasons we have seen out here in Idaho. With his ability to score from all over the floor really made him one of the most valuable players on any team in the state. His range was impressive as he was in range well beyond the NBA Arc. He was shooting those long balls with ease as well. When he did get beyond his defender out in the perimeter he found success in the mid-range. He was hitting from all over. When he got to the rim he showed that he could finish with the big boys and he also finished through contact. Many times he finished with a dunk and he at times finished with a lob as well. Julian could play at the college level now, that is how ready his game is.
The growth in this kids game was stunning because many thought he was just an undersized center well he proved those people wrong as he was able to stretch the floor with his high quality and timely shooting. His work in the perimeter was impressive to say the least because you had to come out and respect his shooting. Isaac made some great reads as he is one of the best passing bigs you will see. Even with that unselfish style of play he was able to light up the scoreboard. Not sure how many dunks he had this year but he had to be in the Top 2 for sure. His conditioning was well noted as he was running up and down the floor to block shots on the defensive end and on the offensive side of things he would be the recipient of many lobs this season and he capped it off with a state championship making that two in a row. Isaac has been courted by many local universities but the out of state schools have come calling as well. He should blow up this spring and summer the way he was locked in during the high school season.
