He has the ability to hit difficult shots with little separation and tough contests from defenders. The lefty is always a threat to score and has his eyes set on the rim when on attack mode. The 6’0 guard impressed with his ability to get to the paint; setting himself up for scoring opportunities and kicking out to open shooters.
Zach Driscoll Zach Driscoll 6'0" | SG Decorah | 2025 State IA : MFL Mar Mac 2025 The leading scorer for the Bulldogs all season, continued his great sophomore campaign at Wells Fargo Arena. Driscoll is a shifty guard with exceptional handles, spotlighted by his left handed in-and-out step back jumper that would have brought the house down had it had fallen like his defender did on the play. He repeatedly finds himself in the paint and is patient playing off 2 feet when doing so. When Driscoll gets going in transition he is a one man fastbreak and adds superb vision to his arsenal. His defensive ability stood out as well. Consistently beating taller and longer guards to the spot and shutting down driving lanes helped contain the potent Pella Christian guardplay. Driscoll ended with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists as the Bulldogs fell 61 to 54 against Pella Christian.
Seaton Ingram Seaton Ingram 6'5" | SF Des Moines Christian | 2025 State IA : Des Moines Christian 2025 The sophomore forward kicked off his state tournament debut with a tough take to the basket and finished over some Central Lyon length. Ingram was tasked with a tough matchup of the 6’6 & 6’7 bigs of the #1 Central Lyon Lions, however, he did not back down all night long. He stuck his nose in every loose ball, battled for positioning, and rebounds of the glass, and threw his lanky arms in countless passing lanes. Seaton finished with a team high 11 points and is loading up for a big developmental summer.
Ephraim Hoefert Ephraim Hoefert 6'8" | SF Central Lyon | 2025 State IA : Central Lyon 2025 The #1 ranked team in 2A rolled in their quarterfinal contest Monday night. Hoefert turned and let the crowd know that he and Central Lyon meant business after a high arcing 1st half three. Altogether, the 6’6 sophomore buried 3 from deep in what proved to be an efficient offensive clinic for the Lions.
Noah Fuelling Noah Fuelling 6'0" | PG Dunkerton | 2025 State IA : Dunkerton 2025 The lefty off the bench caught my eye during his first possession on the floor. Fuelling has a sweet stroke from 3 and slid into his role effectively for the Raiders. He attacked the baseline hard off a transition catch and put defenders on edge with his triple threat ability on the catch. Fuelling worked his tail off on the defensive end, even as he was undersized most of the day against West Harrison. He found his hands on a few passes and created a few turnovers. Fuelling will slide into a much bigger role as the outstanding senior duo of Casey Gardner Casey Gardner 5'8" | PG Dunkerton | 2023 State IA and Preston Gillespie Preston Gillespie 6'3" | SF Dunkerton | 2023 State IA graduate.
Parker Kuehl: MFL Mar Mac 2025 Kuehl complemented Driscoll in the backcourt very well Monday night. Although undersized, he flies around the court and makes much needed hustle plays. His active hands lead to Bulldog easy buckets off of turnovers. The lefty shooting stroke looked pretty and it will be a joy to watch him and Driscoll play the next 2 years. Kuehl ended his season with 8 points and 3 rebounds.
