Sagemont defeated 3-time defending state champion Orlando Christian Prep, 67-66 to win their third state title in school history and first since 2014. Here are the top five standouts from the game:
The 6-7 senior guard found his shooting touch early and often knocking down six 3-pointers and finishing with a team-high 25 points and 8 rebounds in the win. He was also aggressive to the basket and getting to the line on numerous occasions, knocking down 6 of 8 free throws.

The 6-3 junior shooting guard picked up right where he left off in the semifinals, knocking down 4 more 3-pointers in route to his 12-point performance. He knocked down timely shots and has a sweet shooting stroke. The junior put his name on notice throughout the postseason for Sagemont.
The 6-2 senior point guard is one of the highly ranked unsigned senior prospects in the state of Florida. His high basketball IQ led the way for his team as he was making the right plays throughout the game. Finishing with 14 points and 6 assists in the narrow victory over Orlando Christian Prep.
The 6-4 junior lefty combo guard was doing it all for his team, scoring a game-high 28 points including the tying basket with 12 seconds left in regulation. His high motor and basketball IQ started the 18-point comeback for Orlando Christian Prep. He brought all three intangibles to the table with his size, length and aggression to the basket. He also got to the line 12 times, knocking down 11.
Highlights
The 6-0 junior guard showed what he can do with the ball in his hands and without. Finishing with 16 points and got to the line often going 5-for-6 from the charity stripe. His competitiveness also was on display as he and his teammate Isaiah Brown Isaiah Brown 6’5″ | SG Orlando Christian Prep | 2024 State #177 Nation FL were both protecting the rim keeping offensive possessions alive down the stretch.
