What a great 1st round by Isaac who imposed his will with his length and athleticism. This kid is as solid as they come. He has a D1 body and he has picked up a lot of attention. Excite to see where he lands next year at the college level.
The future is bright for Coleman as he continues to showcase his skills. He is not just a catch a shoot player. He defends, he moves his feet and he has IQ on both ends of the floor. Coleman has been the best scoring punch at Davis this year. I can see why they wanted him coming off the bench and next year he will not have that issue as he will be on the floor as much as possible.
Westlake man handled Hunter and Symon was the best player on the floor. With him shutting it down in the 4th he could’ve gone for 40+ but he showed that he is the next best player out of Westlake and they have had some talent come through that school. Symon has been shooting the rock really well as he showed why as he hit 7 three-pointers. Playing in Region 4 is a maker or breaker and Symon is making it.
Paul has been working really hard and doing what he needs to do to help his team win. Sometimes that means rebounding and passing and other times it means scoring the ball more. Paul is a player that plays the right way and he lets the game come to him. Look for him to be a lot more aggressive next season as he has the game that can really go inside and out. Paul had a great 1st Round to extend their season.
Noah had a great year and was able to have a solid game and came up with some huge steals to beat a 9-15 Bountiful team in the first round. Noah shoots the ball well and he has been stepping up his defensive game as well. Look for him to come back next year and play at a high level. Playing an Independent season this year did not allow Juan Diego to get to 20 wins like they usually do. Really keep an eye on Noah next year and hopefully they play better teams and he gets the looks against top tier talent. The kid has game and he can shoot the rock.
