Continue ReadingRigdon is not false advertisment. This young man is an exceptional rim finisher with the gather moves to go with it. The dual-sport athlete is built like an athlete, and moves like one. Finished with 36 points attacking the rim, and pulling up when his defender is on his heels. Rigdon can get numerous of paint touches, and have the vision to find the open man. He is what some would say a playmaker.
Christian Shea
Christian Shea
Shea was a pest on the court today. Locked in on the defensive side steadily fighting for rebounds and loose balls. Found the open spots in the zone hitting shots from the outside. The sub-six-foot guard plays with fury. Moves well without the ball, and doesn’t force shots
Brad Lemly
Brad Lemly
The vocal leader of his team. He moves to the spot where the passer can see him. Efficient in the scoring department most of his points came off the pass. Makes his presence known on the boards. The scrappy player that fights for every loose ball. Consistent ball of energy. He brings maturity to his team.

Byron Huerta
Byron Huerta
Huerta was the defensive presence for the cowboys. Anticipates the offense’s next pass when on the help side. He ran from the paint to the corner twice, blocking an open three-point attempt. Does’t stay flat-footed either always on his toes ready to move. Offensively he needs to be more assertive. Only committed one turnover in 27 minutes of action because he is poise under pressure.
Colin Roberts
Colin Roberts
I remember the impact Roberts had on his team last year winning it all so I expected a good performance from him. Only four points in the first half, but was having a huge impact on the boards. Kept imposing his height on the boards. Great rim finisher with the addition of a soft touch. In the state championship would love to see him face up against his defender.
