Without looking at stats, I would bet that 80+% of Carmichael’s shots are three pointers and yet he’s one of the top shooters in Kentucky by percentage and makes per game. Daniel has one job and he does it well. Go make open shots.
Walkup is a kid that could easily go to another school in Warren County and average 20+ per game but he has stayed at Warren Central and will have a chance to win it all next month. Damarion is long and athletic and will not hesitate to try and dunk on someone who gets in his way on the break. Look for him to add multiple offers before graduation.
One of the best athletes in the 8th region, Luke is an awesome rim protector for a North Oldham team that has been one of the best in Kentucky this season. Anderson is very bouncy and finishes at a high percentage, often with dunks. He is a true X factor for the 8th region tournament.
Trinity’s younger players get the headlines but CJ is a glue guy who does all the little things that affect winning for the Rocks. If they are going to get through the 7th region, Walls will definitely need to make his impact felt and also give Trinity a dependable secondary scorer.
Highlights
Grant County has had a really good season and even notched some notable upsets along the way this year. Micah provides an interior presence for the Braves that not everyone in the region can match. Wills excels in the pick and roll with good hands and above average finishing. He can also step out and face up when the opportunity presents itself.
