The Toledo Whitmer forward has a unique skillset, House moves his feet well for his size and has some vertical pop. Can also handle the ball and play on the perimeter when asked and can attack off the bounce. Has had a productive senior season for one of the top teams in northwest Ohio. A prospect to keep an eye on at the next level, somebody small college programs should be taking a look at.
Rivers is a rim protecting center who can score around the rim as well. Rivers has come along his senior season and become a productive piece for a Walsh Jesuit team that has some marquee victories on the season. Rivers is going to need some time to develop offensively, but his defensive skills could allow him to see the floor early at the next level. Walsh Jesuit has a few small college prospects in the 2023 and 2024 class for college coaches to check out.
Hargett has played a nice role for Saint Edward this season. Not looked upon to be a leading scorer, Hargett knows his role and finishes shots at the basket, makes the extra pass and can hit an open outside shot as well. Hargett has had multiple double-digit scoring games for the Eagles and is a guy who could play a part in another deep playoff run for Eric Flannery and company.
A stretch-4, Britton knocked down a lot of shots at the Prep Hoops 250 Expo and showed he can really shoot it at 6’5. That skill-set will get you recruited by small college programs, Britton eclipsed 1,000 career points for Pymatuning Valley last week. Britton is worth a look for small college programs.
A first team Columbus City League selection, Whitaker is an undersized forward who uses his strength around the basket to score. Whitaker plays with a good motor and was one of the most productive players in the Columbus city league. I’m a fan of the toughness and production Whitaker brings to his team.
Zingg is an example of a long-term swing for a small college program on a prospect with a ton of size. Zingg is far from a finished product but with his work ethic and the flashes he shows with his back to the basket, there’s something for a small college to work with. Size is a luxury at the Division III level and Zingg could be a potential mismatch option if he develops.
Burga is another small-town product who impressed at the Prep Hoops 250 Expo as a physical forward who wasn’t afraid to mix it up in the paint. Burga scored his 1,000th career point on senior night for Buckeye Trail and has had a productive senior season. Burga is a two-sport stud as he also shines on the diamond.
