Andrew Erickson
Andrew Erickson
Andrew Erickson is a tough nosed combo guard from Seton Catholic Central and is in the graduating class of 2024. In the game we watched, Drew scored more than half of his teams points with 29 out of 56 while eclipsing his 1000th point in a win over a strong Owego Free Academy squad. Erickson has a quick release from distance and has the ability to get open, set his feet, and knock down contested 3’s. Has a tight handle and the ability to break down individual defenders while finishing tough shots through contact. Makes good reads on help side defenders, always knows the time and score, and exhibits a high basketball IQ. Not afraid to sit down in a stance and can win in one on one point of attack situations on defense. Erickson has spent his Spring & Summers on the EYBL circuit with City Rocks and seems comfortable in high pace games against strong competitors.
Aidan Fenkl
Aidan Fenkl
Aidan Fenkl is a strong, athletic combo guard from Maine Endwell High School and is in the graduating class of 2023. Fenkl is a high academic, three sport student athlete and is extremely competitive on the basketball court. Can change the game with his on ball defense, creating turnovers that lead to fast break buckets for himself and his teammates. Aidan is comfortable creating off the dribble and is able to break down single defenders, making good reads when he gets into the paint and draws defenders into help. Capable of consistently knocking down 3’s from kickouts and knocks down the one dribble pull up when defenders fly by on the closeout. Fenkl is efficient coming off of high ball screens and is known for knocking down the top of the key 3 when the defense goes under or miscommunicates the switch.
Davian King
Davian King
Davian King is a strong, athletic forward from Union Endicott High School and is in the class of 2024. King has the ability to dominate the boards on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. He has a great touch around the basket, ability to score with both hands, and quickly gets off his feet to convert his offensive rebounds. Defensively he has proven to be a nightmare for opponents in the Section IV, blocking shots, communicating and holding down the paint for the Tigers. King is also capable of sitting down in a defensive stance and turning ball handlers, he certainly has some athleticism to compliment his size. Capable of knocking down 3’s off the catch and on pull-ups off the dribble.
Q’San Tucker
Q’San Tucker
Q’San Tucker is a strong, physical guard from Johnson City High School and is in the graduating class of 2023. Tucker is high energy and sets the tone for his team by playing aggressive defense and communicating effectively. Defensively he can guard multiple positions and is not afraid to mix it up on the inside, rebounding very well for a guard. Offensively he displays an attack mentality, does a great job getting to the basket and finishing through contact. Also if effective getting open on the perimeter and has the ability to knock down 3’s from drive and kick scenarios.
Michael Galecki
Michael Galecki
Michael Galecki is a savvy point guard from Union Endicott High School and is in the graduating class of 2023. Never too up, never too down, Galecki understands how to play the game, exhibits strong leadership and has converted in a few crucial moments throughout the season for the Union Endicott Tigers. Capable of handling ball pressure and initiating the offense in a high pace setting. Galecki is a knock down shooter from 3 point range and has consistently made shots from well beyond the 3 point arc. Strong on ball defender and has the capability to disrupt the opponents offense by pressuring the ball handler.
Cullen Green
Cullen Green
Cullen Green is the leader of a discipline, well coached Maine-Endwell squad and is in the graduating class of 2023. Green is also recognized for his talent on the lacrosse field but has been having a strong senior season on the hardwood. Defensively he executes his role in his teams aggressive half court 1-3-1, consistently coming up with steals and deflections, leading to a ton of transition points for himself and his teammates. He rebounds extremely well for a guard and often pushes the ball up the court, making great decisions on the fast break. Green is a high level shooter from distance and is capable of knocking down 3’s both off the catch and off the dribble.
