Lawrence North: vs New Palestine (1/30)
Highlights
Everybody needs a player like Mase Hughes Mase Hughes 6'2" | PF Lawrence North | 2023 State IN on their roster. He has a elite motor and is always running he floor hard. Rebounds very well and even showed an ability to knock down the outside jumper off the catch. The things he does on the floor may not be pretty, but he is effective.
Highlights
There was not a quicker guard in the gym this game than Bowles. Whether it is off the ball or on the ball, Bowels is a dangerous player. Scored at all three levels and has added a major amount of size since I saw him last. Sometimes he is just a little too fast but his speed is his advantage. So much potential in this 2024 guard. He finished with 15 points.
Highlights
Cunningham is a lead guard that looked to have added more size and more athletic ability. Showed a smooth jumper and made some underrated for Lawrence North this game. Real quick guard that can create for himself while also pushing the pace. An under-the-radar guard that schools need to look at.
Miller is a bigger forward for only being a freshman. Pretty versatile for his age right now and can score at both the perimeter and post. Rebounds very well and that is what he needs to do for this year’s Lawrence North team. One to keep an eye on moving forward.
Baker is a shorter yet very strong guard. Baker made the biggest shots of the game with 12 of his 14 points coming in the second half. He comes off the bench for this Lawrence North team but is a very important piece to the Wildcats. Very smart player that does not force anything. Plays within himself and defends well.
New Palestine: vs Lawrence North (1/30)
There was not a player on the floor with a high motor than Stephens this game. Dude was rebounding and pushing the tempo any chance he got. Had a fast break dunk that nearly brought the roof down and was knocking down shot after shot. He is a very good athlete and finishes plays at a high level. Real versatile forward that can be placed nearly anywhere. He finished with 14 points.
Nunnally is a smaller guard but has a stocky build to him. Real quick off the dibble takes pride and making those much-needed hustle plays. Pretty unselfish with the ball and hardly made any mistakes on the floor. Defends and has good court vision.
