It featured both high school and post grad teams from all over the east coast including Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Here, we take a look at the standouts from the Pennsylvania schools in attendance.
Jake Di’Michele | 6’4” WG | First Love Post Grad ’23
Di’Michele has quickly shown to be one of the best all-around scorers in the EPL, so much that I have nicknamed him “Park Buckets” as he has a natural ability to score the ball like it’s just a pick up game. He’s a knock down shooter from deep with effortless range, he can attack the rim in straight lines and knows how to use his body to finish around through contact and he can make tough shots in the midrange as well. He scored the ball efficiently and in bunches for his team as they went 1-1 on the weekend.
Keyshawn Mitchell Keyshawn Mitchell 6'10" | SF Scotland Campus | 2023 State PA | 6’10” C | First Love Post Grad ’23
For any division one schools that are looking for an available big man, Mitchell is one to take a look at as he is chock full of potential and just continues to get better every time I watch him. He was very productive in their win over Combine getting behind the press and finishing above the rim, rebounding well on both ends of the floor and protecting the rim as well. He’s a natural athlete at 6’10” with good hands and finishing ability and he still has a lot of room to get better moving forward.
Aaron Davis Aaron Davis 6'5" | SF Hudson Catholic | 2023 PA | 6’6” WF | First Love Post Grad ’23
Davis is another talented scoring wing for First Love who recently committed to Bryant and showed his scoring ability going for 28 points against a very good Hargrave team. The 6’6” wing is a knock down shooter from deep with good size to get his shot off, he has a great pump fake and can get to spots off the bounce where he can use his athleticism and size to get shots off and he can create shots off the bounce in isolation situations. He’s the type of player that can get hot quickly and take over games with his scoring ability.
Will Sydnor | 6’9” PF | First Love National ’24
Sydnor is quickly becoming one of the top prospects in Pennsylvania and had a fantastic weekend with a win over a talented Miller School team and in a loss to Winston-Salem Christian. The 6’9” forward is a versatile player who can score in the paint in post ups and on the offensive glass, he can take defenders out on the perimeter where he can score the ball off the bounce and he can stretch the floor too. He has the ability to guard multiple positions and rebounds well too, and he should have a huge summer on the recruitment trail.
Preston Edmead | 5’11” PG | First Love National ’25
Edmead is a name to remember moving forward in the 2025 class, as the 5’11” point guard is super talented and dynamic with the ball in his hands. He’s shifty off the bounce with a tight handle and the ability to change speeds and directions, he can create space and is a talented shot maker at all three levels and he’s very tough to guard in one-on-one situations. He’s naturally gifted as both a scorer and distributor that makes the game look very easy.
