District Tournaments
Bearden – Maryville
Rarely does a team get an opportunity to bounce the Bearden Bulldogs prior to the District Tournament Semifinals, but Maryville was in that position Thursday night. For Bearden, Jake Poole scored 13 points and Tyson Pirtle registered 10 points.

controlled the game with pushing the attack. Often, LJ made the retreating Eagles scramble to find assignments in transition. Multiple wide-open three-point attempts came from the passes Johnston delivered. Johnston surpassed 1,00 career points earlier this month.
Teammate Blake Allison (Harpeth) played wonderfully in a pressure situation. He hit a second quarter triple to give Harpeth a tiny cushion, 30-26.
Rhett Hunt (Sycamore) hit a challenging three-pointer from the wing, in a high-scoring first quarter. And again seconds later! Without his pair the team was down 13-6, in a do-or-die scenario.

Gallatin – McGavock
AJ Davis (Gallatin) played very active early, attacking in transition. His best contribution was probably his stout on-ball defense.

Gallatin surged out to a 19-0 start.
Hendersonville (47) – Hunters Lane (40)
Malik Harrell played fast, defended with urgency. Harrell’s shooting was a bright spot for an struggling offense. His three-pointer late in the third quarter looked vital. It pulled the previously wayward-shooting Warriors to within seven points. Harrell managed to plop in a challenged pull-up to give his team their 28th and 29th points too. His bravery shown through.

pulled down many defensive rebounds.
The biggest shot of the night? Pate Pfaffmann finished off a series of skip and reversal passes with a massive three-pointer to open the game to 43-38 in the final two minutes. The shot broke up a key Hunters Lane run, and provided an integral cushion.
Hendersonville will meet Station Camp. Both teams will qualify for the Regional Tournament.
