A lot of celebrities were in the house as well. Trevor Ariza, Matt barnes, Isaiah Thomas, Derek Fisher and more sitting court-side to catch a few games.
Javaun Sims Jr. || Rose City Rebels || 2030 ||
Rose city Rebels were in a battle with a good team and they fell behind a bit. Early in the game Sims was able to get to the rim and use his floater to get some buckets. Later in the game he was creating for his teammates while he penetrated the defense he had some good kick outs and a few good drop off passes to his post players. Late in the game he was feeling it from deep and he led a charge to get that game into one single digits but he came up short. This little guy has heart and he can score at ll three levels despite being one of the smaller players on the floor.
Zion Leoard || Paul George Elite || 2027 ||
Zion got the game kicked off right as he got the loose ball on the tip and he launched from deep and hit. Once he got the game started he did not look back as he was moving from lead guard to off the ball guard and was just taking what the defense was giving him. He was using that seek dribble to get space and then changing pace to get to the rim. Zion also made that extra pass that got a lot of looks for his shooters around him. Really impressed with his growth in the past few months, he was playing more composed and it really payed off in a tight game.
Luke Wray || Team Utah || 2028 ||
Luke was getting buckets this morning. He was just using that motor, athleticism and high skill level to propel himself to tough buckets. He out rebounded a few players bigger than him as he just wanted it more. He lost a tough game but no before showing that he is one of the best PG’s in the Class of 2028 out West.
PJ Sideras || Rose City Rebels || 2030 ||
PJ has a big time handle and the way he handles pressure is impressive. He was scanning the floor and finding his teammates all over the floor. When he was out in the perimeter he did a great job of shooting quickly on a catch and shoot. He also used his patience on relocations and shooting off the dribble. Super tough finisher.
