Box Elder
They have lost to Woods cross twice by a total of 7 points. One game by one and one game by 6 and they have really beat some teams bad. They gave it to Weber earlier this year. They destroyed Northridge in their first meeting but this team has some players that make teams nervous. Jackson McKee Jackson McKee 6'6" | PF Box Elder | 2023 State UT and Elijah Kersey Elijah Kersey 6'1" | PG Box Elder | 2024 State UT have been great this year. This duo has been putting up 20 PPG and they share the load. Jackson is solid from the outside and he rebounds well. He has good size and he can hurt teams that do not have someone that can match his size and skill at the 3. Elijah is quick and he can get down hill in a hurry. Could go off against other guards that can’t move their feet. Cooper Stevenson gives this team some shooting from the outside and he helps spread the floor. Box Elder should be a tough out.
Juan Diego Catholic
The way it looks like right now JDCHS will likely be a 10 or below seed. They have had some moments and they have had some let-downs. Dorelle Desire has been really good and he is a player that projects really well at the next level. He defends and he is very active on the floor on the offensive side. Shares the ball and he cover a lot of ground when he is chasing on top of the zone trap and he also cover a lot of ground in the middle or wing of the 2-3 zone. Camilo Ramirez has been a solid glue guys getting the ball moving and shooting the ball when he needs to. Malik Harris has been tough playing multiple positions. Noah Bendinger Noah Bendinger 6'3" | CG Corner Canyon | 2025 State UT has really developed the rest of his game he will be a player that can shoot the ball and he has range. This team could catch someone, especially if they get into the zone and a team is not shooting the ball well.
Payson
These boys can play. Thei record might not tell the whole story but they have some players that can score. Isaac Wolfe Isaac Wolfe 6'1" | PG Payson | 2023 State UT is a good ball handler that can shoot. Kamika Wesley Kamika Wesley 6'5" | PF Payson | 2024 State UT and Max Mitchell provide other scoring options. They have about 8 players that can score from the outside and while the 1st rounds are at regular school sites they will have an easier time shooting from distance.
