Continue ReadingRobert Miller Robert Miller 6’11” | C Pasadena Memorial | 2024 State #64 Nation TX is easily one of the more entertaining prospects to watch in Houston as he uses his length and athleticism to dominate opponents under the basket. When it comes to scoring at the rim, Miller is adept at using a variety of post moves in his arsenal to score the rock or get himself to the foul line, where he is usually quite efficient at making the defense pay. Miller finished their district rivalry game against Pasadena with 17 points, on 5/7 from the field and 7/11 from the foul line, as well as grabbing 15 rebounds for an easy double-double. Houston, watch out for the name Robert Miller Robert Miller 6’11” | C Pasadena Memorial | 2024 State #64 Nation TX III to rise to the top of the rankings over the next year and a half!
Cameron Patterson Cameron Patterson 6’5″ | SG Summer Creek | 2024 State #324 Nation TX has been raising his stock since the very beginning of the season, putting on spectacular performance game after game and making his mark known in perhaps what is the toughest district in Texas. Cam has shown himself to be one of the leaders on this experienced Bulldogs team this season and is relied upon heavily to shoulder the scoring load, but does this with ease as it just seems to come naturally to him. In one of the more recent contests, Cam had 16 points on 7/10 shooting and nailed all 3 of his attempts from the free throw line in a crucial district win over North Shore. Patterson is great at finishing through contact under the basket and also possesses a tremendous outside shot. Cameron will look to make a big difference for Summer Creek with momentum making a playoff push.
Deadric Fikes
Deadric Fikes
Deadric is one of the premier big man in the Aldine district, putting on a dominant performance each and every time he steps out on the court. He dropped 21 points on 10/14 shooting in a district game against Westfield in early January and also came away with 13 rebounds this contest. Fikes makes a big difference in the middle for this Davis Falcons squad as he provides them with an interior force presence that comes up clutch on both ends of the floor. Davis is 1st in their district right now building up to the Bi-district playoffs and will continue to continue their upward momentum with Deadric in the middle, being the vocal leader he is.
Adrian Johnson
Adrian Johnson
Adrian is a big time contributor for his Cypress Lakes Spartans team in the middle, playing the big man position. Johnson is a force to be reckoned with under the basket and is exceptional at finishing under the basket through contact as well as stepping out beyond the arc to knock down some long range shots as well. Adrian plays well off the pick and roll as the receiver and is great in the post up game. He came away with 16 points on 8/11 shooting and made 2 of 3 free throws in a tough game against district foe Cypress Park despite the tough loss. Adrian will look to make a statement in the last few district games this season and will continue to prove dominance down low on the block.
Nick Anderson
Nick Anderson
Nick was a clutch playmaker for his Cypress Lakes Spartans squad in their rivalry game against the Cypress Park Tigers, making plays and scoring the rock. Anderson is one of the guards that helps the offense flow and was getting into a good scoring rhythm this game, making it hard for the defense to stay in front of him. Nick finished the contest with 14 points on 7/8 shooting and sunk 2 of 5 free throws for the game. Nick Anderson will continue to be a name to watch on this experienced squad as the season comes to a close in the next few weeks.
