Through 12 games played this season, the 6-2 junior combo guard is leading the state in Class 5A in scoring as he is averaging 29.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.5 steals per game for Wesley Chapel. He has scored 30 or more points in four games this season, including three of them where he scored 40.
The 5-11 senior guard heads into the second half of the season, averaging 23.0 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Whitehurst tied his season-high with 38 points back on December 15 in a 93-90 overtime win over West Florida. He also added 8 rebounds and 5 steals in the win on December 15.
At the midway point of the season, the 5-10 senior combo guard is averaging 23.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game for North Miami. Jackson recorded a season-high 32 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field back on December 9, in a 85-64 loss to Coral Reef. Jackson is shooting 55 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc.
Highlights
The 6-1 senior guard is averaging 17.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game as we approach the midway point of the regular season. In 3 games at the Kelleher Law Holiday Hoopfest, Broxey averaged 17.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game and received All-Tournament honors. Columbia (Lake City) is back in action on Friday night where they’ll travel to Baker County in a key district matchup.
Highlights
Heading into the New Year, the 6-6 junior guard is averaging 17.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game for Miami Norland. Wilson scored a season high 29 points on 12-of-17 shooting from the field, in their 76-62 win over Miami Country Day back on November 25.
