Colby Collison Colby Collison 6'4" | SF Bondurant-Farrar | 2023 State IA , 6’4″ SF, Bondurant-Farrar – So far this season, the senior is averaging a team-high 19.3 points a contest. Collison is an elite scorer from anywhere on the floor, 52.1%-31.6%-80.6%, being his shooting splits. At 6’4″, he can handle the ball well and does a great job getting teammates involved (4.0 assists per game). With a high basketball IQ, Collison plays smart on both ends of the floor. He has a handful of offers from schools such as Briar Cliff, Dakota State, Grand View, and more.
Max Weaton Max Weaton 6'6" | PF Fairfield | 2023 State IA , 6’6″ PF, Fairfield – Weaton averaged a double-double last year as a junior, and is carrying that over to his senior year. Through Fairfield’s first eleven games, he is averaging 19.6 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game. Weaton runs the floor very well for his size and can finish in transition. Offensively, he shows good footwork down low, and nice touch around the rim. Defensively, he has good hands and uses his size block shots with good timing.
Traijan Sain Traijan Sain 6'5" | SF Cedar Rapids Washington | 2023 State IA , 6’5″ SF, Cedar Rapids Washington – After a solid junior year, Sain is averaging 13.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. At 6’5″, Sain has great length, and some serious bounce. He is very good at using his dribble to create shots and has a smooth release on his jumper. This fall Sain received his first offer to play at Iowa Lakes, but expect some more offers to roll as he continues a solid senior season. Catch a couple of Sain’s dunks below!
Mathok Mathok Mathok Mathok 6'6" | PF Council Bluffs Lincoln | 2023 State IA , 6’6″ PF, Council Bluffs Lincoln – Mathok moved over from Omaha for his senior season and has been playing very well for the Lynx. The long, athletic forward averages a double-double with 15.4 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. At 6’6″, Mathok is a very good scorer down low, shooting a whopping 72.6% from the field. He has very good body control in the paint on both sides of the ball and is dominant on the boards. The senior currently holds offers from Central Community College (NE) and Bellevue (NE) University.
Merquiche Lewis Jr., 6’4″ SF, Burlington – The 6’4″ forward is off to an amazing start in his senior season, averaging 25.2 points per game (7th in the entire state). Lewis is very good at jumping passing lanes on defense and turning it into offense, averaging 3.4 steals a game. He is solid on both the offensive and defensive boards and uses his athleticism to get to the hoop to score or to open up teammates.
