Logan Bishop Logan Bishop 6'2" | SG Lee's Summit West | 2024 State MO (Lee’s Summit West): The 6’2″ 2024 guard was on fire in the championship game against Ruskin as he scored 25 points in the Titans’ impressive victory. He was knocking down 3-points from all over the place as he had it going early and often from long distance. He was also playing with a high motor as usual as he scored on some nice slashing drives to the basket.
Chaz Watson Chaz Watson 6'3" | SG Lee's Summit West | 2024 State #309 Nation MO (Lee’s Summit West): The 6’3″ 2024 guard is a three-level scorer who can drive into the lane and score with his physical build or he can drop 3-pointers with his feathery touch from long distance. He is a creative offensive threat who can get his own shot off the dribble.
Gavin Schagg (Park Hill): A 6’1 2024 who performs many tasks on the court to help his team succeed. He’s a good passer who can assume part of the ball handling duties. He makes hustle plays on a regular basis. He can also score on slashing drives to the basket and hit the open 3-pointer.
Pierre Smith (Ruskin): A 2024 guard who led his team to a berth in the championship game. The lefty is a potent scorer with good quickness and the ability to knock down 3-pointers off the bounce. He can also break down defenders to get into the lane.
Brady Davidson (Rock Bridge): A 6’5″ 2025 forward who was impressive in the consolation championship game against Raytown as he scored a team-high 15 points. He is an athletic player with a good feel for the game. He puts the ball on the floor well and he has a nice runner in the lane. He also drained a trio of 3-pointers in the first half. His court vision was also good as he dropped some nice dimes off the dribble.
Bryce Mitchell Bryce Mitchell 6'5" | PF Raymore-Peculiar | 2024 State MO (Lee’s Summit West): A 6’5″ 2024 forward who came into the championship game and had an immediate impact with his length and athleticism. The big lefty was very active as he was blocking shots and rebounding the ball very well. He operated out of the high post very well as he caught the ball and scored on slithering drives to the basket.
Ramelo Smith (Raytown): A 5’11” 2025 point guard who displayed a nice balance of distributing the basketball while also being able to create a bucket for himself. He gets to his spots well and he delivered several nice passes to teammates where they could do something positive with the ball. He displayed a quick first step and burst when he penetrated into the lane. He’s strong and he stayed low to the floor on the dribble. He could also pull up to hit the 3-pointer.
Josh Salinas Josh Salinas 6'0" | PG Lee's Summit West | 2024 State MO (Lee’s Summit West): A 6’0″ 2024 point guard who did an excellent job of distributing the ball to the many talented weapons on the team. He’s physically strong and he’s tough to keep out of the lane on his penetrating drives. He is also a stout defender with quick hands for ball hawking.
Larry Porter (Raytown): It was my first time seeing this 6’3″ 2025 wing player in action and I was impressed with his talent as skill level. He has good size and a quick first step to beat defenders to the basket. He also displayed some nice handles to create his own shot off the dribble. He knocked down a few mid-range jumpers off the bounce.
