Terrell Pitts Terrell Pitts 6'4" | SG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2023 State NJ , 6’4 SG St. Thomas Aquinas 2023
Pitts had a big game for the Trojans as he brought the energy for them throughout the game. The East Stroudsburg commit scored the opening five points of the games as he was aggressive attacking the basket and did not mind drawing contact. Pitts played good defense throughout the night as he sealed the win with a breakaway slam in the final minute of the game. He crashed the glass hard on both ends of the floor and moved well without the ball in his hands. Pitts’ play on the perimeter was key for St. Thomas Aquinas in this massive GMC as the Trojans look to repeat as GMC Tournament champions.
Jeremy Clayville Jeremy Clayville 6'1" | CG St. Joe's Metuchen | 2024 State NJ , 6’0 PG St. Joe’s Metuchen 2024
Clayville had a monster game for the Falcons as he scored a game-high 25 points. The 6’0 point guard shot the ball with confidence from behind the arc and showed off a quick release on his jumper. Clayville was also able to get into the lane and hit multiple floaters around the rim. He ran the offense effectively and showed the potential to play off the ball as well. Clayville’s ability to score points in bunches is something that will be key for St. Joe’s Metuchen in the postseason tournaments.
Deuce Jones Deuce Jones 6'1" | PG College Achieve | 2024 State #221 Nation NJ , 6’2 PG St. Thomas Aquinas 2024
Jones scored a team-high 16 points for the Trojans as he ran the show for them on offense. The 6’2 guard used his tight handle to beat his defender off the bounce and was unafraid of drawing contact around the basket. Jones got to his spot on the floor with ease and rose up with confidence on his jumper in the half court. He moved his feet well on the defensive end and was able to push the pace off defensive rebounds. Jones’ combination of speed and talent makes him a tough cover for almost every opponent St. Thomas Aquinas should face this season.
Josh Ingram, 6’4 SG St. Joe’s Metuchen 2023
Ingram started the game slow, but finished off the game with 14 points for the Falcons. The 6’4 guard was at his best going to the basket as he finished nicely around the rim, showing off good body control in the paint. Ingram ran the offense at time for the Falcons and was not rattled by on-ball pressure. He used his length to make plays on the defensive end and has a nice release on his jumper. Ingram is a lanky, shooting guard prospect who will be one to watch in the GMC throughout the rest of the season.
Jalen Pichardo Jalen Pichardo 6'6" | SF St. Thomas Aquinas | 2023 State NJ , 6’6 F St. Thomas Aquinas 2023
Pichardo was a steady presence for St. Thomas Aquinas throughout the night as his play down low was key to their victory. The East Stroudsburg commit was tough to keep off the glass at both ends of the floor, keeping possessions alive for the Trojans. Pichardo showed his ability to play away from the basket as he put the ball on the floor and has a good release on his free throws. He played with poise throughout the game and used his size to make an impact on the defensive end. Pichardo is a tough, forward prospect who does whatever it takes to help his team win games.
