Rex Denker Rex Denker 6'1" | SG Pioneer | 2023 State CA-N 6’2 2023 Guard from Pioneer
A week ago he was chosen as Player of the Week with his performance. He’s continued to play consistent basketball. He has good fundamentals to go along with an excellent shot behind the 3pt line. He has a good understanding of the game and how to navigate his way through when times get tough. He’ll handle at times, good vision to see the court, and can deliver solid passes up court, and to players in a position to put the ball in the basket.
Zach Norcia 6’0 2023 guard from Leigh
Norcia was on fire the game we attended, his 6-3ptrs helped lead his team to win on the road. He has deep range from behind the 3pt line. He was good coming down with rhythm for transition 3’s. He has a quick release in the corner for the catch and shoot. He can handle a bit using strong drives to get into the paint. He moves well working without the ball looking for open spots to put up shots. His 22pts were tops in this game.
Caleb Asante 6’3 2024 Wing from Leigh
He was one of the better athletes we saw from this area last week. He has long arms with good bounce going after rebounds and blocks. He was hard to guard using one dribble and into the post with his athleticism. He’s an improving ball handler on the wing getting the opportunity to handle and create for himself later in the game. He has some work to do there, but he’s decent 12 feet and in. He collected a double double with 12pts, 12rebs, 3blks, 2stls. He’s on the Wrights Watch List.
Kaden Selfridge 6’4 2023 Wing
He didn’t stuff the stat sheet but he showed himself to be a good all-around player in this game. He’s on the thin side, with long arms, and good energy to help on the boards. He slashes and cuts to the basket, he showed a willingness to continually fill the lanes in transition. He has the foot speed to stay in front of defenders.
Jayden Sweeney 6’4 2024 wing from Oak Grove
He’s a good athlete with a solid body. He does a lot on the court to help this team. He had 7 rebounds with good boxouts. He brings the ball up court with a decent set of handles to withstand ball pressure, he can create for himself to get into the paint. He hit a couple of long 3’s, and converted some tough shots with defenders hanging on him, including paint jumpers. He’s a good passer when facilitating in half-court sets. He has a good upside. 19pts, 7rebs, 2asts, 2blks, 1stl. We’ll see him again.
Jaxon Moore Jaxon Moore 6'5" | PF Santa Teresa | 2023 State CA-N 6’6 2023 F/PF from Santa Teresa
Moore has a solid body and plays with a bit of a chip on his shoulder, he has some toughness to go along with a good understanding of what he can do on the court. He seems most effective working in the post area using good foot work, and strength to score, he showed he could step out and hit the 3ptr or trailing. He was the games tallest player so naturally he dominated the boards. He had good effort. By our count he had 16rebs, to go with 10pts, and 3 blocks. He can help a local Juco around here.
Uriah Brown Uriah Brown 6'0" | CG Christopher | 2024 State CA-N 6’1 2024 CG from Santa Teresa
He was a bit slow getting started but soon found his scoring touch to lead his team in scoring with 17pts. He has a good set of handles, along with quickness using a crossover drive and a quick first step going by defenders working from different angles. He’ll pull-up on the dime for short jumpers. He hit 3-3’s, had 3asts, 3stls.
