Continue ReadingDavid was big time in a region that every game can go anyway David gave Fremont just enough to lift them to a big win against a good Syracuse team. The 6’6 multi-use forward not only showed grit he showed that he can get it done from deep as well. David is one of the better tight-ends in the state on the field and he is one of the most slept on SF in the state on the court. David has D2/D3/NAIA game. He is strong and can step out and shoot the ball. In the post he is tough as well.
Although the kid did not get the game winner off or the shot to get them to OT Jaxon has been stellar and he was critical in getting them in those winning positions. With so much attention that he gets he really got a lot of people out of position as they rotate over to help or jump in the lanes to prevent Jaxon from scoring, this causes more scrambles towards the ball and rebounds that allowed Riverton those second chance opportunities. Jaxon puts Riverton in the driver seat for now but the road will continue to get tougher as this Region is just a battle every night.
With so much on the line in Region 4 Cameron had himself a big time game. With Lone Peak Hitting 11 three-pointers and Cameron hitting two big ones the senior guard was huge with his 18 points. With AF only hitting 3 three-pointers Lone Peak and Swigget might have found a chink in the armor. Swigget is a NWAC/D3 prospect that can shoot and has some elite quickness. If he can get going and the rest of this Lone Peak team can roll from deep they will continue to be a problem.
Heading to the 4th with the lead Murray made a comeback to send it to OT. Kevin Doe Kevin Doe 6'5" | CG East | 2023 State UT had a huge night scoring 23 points. This kid was in his bag. Kevin is another player that can flourish in the NWAC as he is a big guard that can probably be valuabel for a team that is looking for a player that can play 1-3.
Although he was not the leading scorer Micah was a matchup nightmare for Uintah. Micah had 21 points and hit two three-pointers for a great win. Excited to see what Micah and the rest of this Hillcrest squad can do if they run the table and meet Cottonwood again. Micah displays great defense and a fluid offensive game.
Mason Farr
Mason Farr
Dominating performance for the off the radar big who has been playing well all year. Mason led with 21 points in a somewhat of an upset win over Judge Memorial Catholic. The 6’9 big fella could be a sneaky get for an NWAC or D3 team. He is a must watch player that can develop nicely at the next level.
