Let’s start by saying this kid has been one of the craftiest guards in the Class of 2028 you will see. He uses that craftiness and IQ very well. He is not the quickest guard on the floor but he can set his defender up with bait dribbles on one side as he sets up that spin or seal to get him space to drive on the other side. Very fluid handle as he can go between his legs to protect or to switch gears or direction. Spot shooting has been great as he can hit those open looks and he can be a big time weapon if they put him anywhere the help is coming from.

Shalen was in his bag this past weekend as he was hitting from all over the floor. If he plays like that the rest of these high level stops I do not think anyone will beat his team. He has that hybrid multi-purpose game down, He can switch almost 1-5 and he uses a lot of strength on defense holding it down.

Dieter has been really battling because he is one of the taller players on his team. Team Utah was able to bring their true big but even then they are just use to being undersized. He was able to play more of the 4 or 3 spot this time around and he was effective. With his ability to shoot and power through contact was in the paint he had some defenders shook. This kid has some huge feet and big hands, if he can get that height coming in in soon he will be one of those elite players out of Utah.
It is too hard not to list this kid as he is just a DAWG! Adan is likely one of the best slashers in the country. He knows how to work angles and get his shoulder out in front. That allows him to power through people. Shooting the ball well this weekend but one aspect of his game that does go unnoticed a bit because he does create very well is his vision. The kid is going to drop a lot of dimes as he did this past weekend as well.

Luke was playing with passion this past weekend as he was straight line driving with easy and finishing some tough AND 1’s. With the way he drives and the shooters he has posted in the perimeter he has Team Utah one of the more undersized teams in The Class of 2028 out in the PNW playing very well and the right way. Once Luke gets downhill a lot of things end up opening for him. This kid is tough.
